Hi I asked at my pre op how long I would have to wait and was told the pre op tests are valid for 6 months but I suspect all PCT,'s differ, but actually had my op 6 weeks later. The tests they do include, ECG, blood tests, BMI so your height and weight, and possibly BP. It's a good opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have about the procedure. They should go through logistics of what time you can last eat, and what time they need you to arrive also details of a bowel prep should you need one. Make a list of questions you want answered. Also if you are happy to consider a cancelation for your surgery this is a good time to let them know if you are available at short notice.
I recently had mine, nothing to worry about just health questions blood tests and weight/bmi etc. My surgery was 2 days after this. However they asked me when my last period was i explained im trying to conceive and my period was due they still went ahead with my op date but then cancelled on the morning due to risk of pregnancy. (I am having fertility checks) so make sure you are at the right point in your cycle if this applies to you good luck! X
