I had my laparoscopy and hysteroscopy four days and am so sore. It's my belly and legs. Am so tired and emotional. Currently taking 3x 400mg ibuprofen and paracetamol.
Do you know when the pain gets better. My belly hurts so much especially sitting.
Thanks so much. xx

Maybe you could contact GP for stronger pain killer? I also find sitting down more uncomfortable than standing. Make sure you sit a hard seat not soft sofas.
Hi I am three weeks post lap now and it does get better. I'm impressed your posting after four days I will still bed bound and hadn't the energy to do anything. We all recover at different rates due to the level of endo and what treatment you had done but it does get better. You will see a lot of improvement over the next week and start feeling more like yourself and be able to do a little more. My GP gave me cocodamol but you can get this over the counter also and I would say it definitely helped more than paracetamol ibuprofen. Be aware it makes you constipated and that's not fun when your tummy is so tender so f you get that ask the doctor for a light laxative. I took lactulose solution and it was so gentle. I think I would have had a lot worse a time without taking that! Rest a lot and get help with cooking and cleaning. My partner stayed with me in the bathroom when I had a shower as I was worried about falling as I was weak, it was nice to feel fresher and he blow dried my hair for me as there was no chance I could do that. If family can help with things like that it can be really nice, use this time to pamper yourself xx
