Told by gynae MRI could not be done to check for endo/adeno, confused!
I asked if I could have a laparoscopy to check for both conditions whilst I was having the
hysteroscopy
& mirena under G.A. and he agreed.

delayed period after progynova with cancelled donor embryo transfer
It had only got to 5mm so the clinic cancelled the cycle and have recommended a
hysteroscopy
to rule out any issues. My question is- how long will it take for my period to start again? I can’t do anything till then and it’s already 7 days late.

Has anyone had hysteroscopy without GA?
Since I’ve had a D&C and then no successes on my transfers my consultant has suggested we could do the
hysteroscopy
again. He thinks it’s unlikely that there would be any scar tissue as my last lining was the best it’s ever been, but best to check it out.

Can I pick some brains please.
I then said I had an appointment next week for a
hysteroscopy
to see if had cancer so she can wait till I know if I am going to die or not. So she'll arrange appointment for 3 to 4 weeks.

Cancelled fet due to cystic spaces during lining check
Today I went in, the doctor doing the lining check said, she saw wat was called cystic spaces, I did
hysteroscopy
on Feb and it was all clear. Dr said could have been due to extra vaginal estrogen, I did tell her I never had this issue in the past having been in this journey from last 7 years.

Recent surgery
Hysteroscopy
for suspected polyp, nothing found. Tried on various hormones to manage symptoms (Norethisterone, Provera). Still heavy bleeding and pain like a cricket ball in my tummy. In past 9 months, pain in bowel, pain emptying bowel and bleeding.

Is anyone else really bad at making treatment decisions? 😫
So I was really pushing to get the
hysteroscopy
done so it wasn’t a ‘wasted’ month. After my consultation today my doctor has said that I don’t need to go on the pill and he will find a way to make it work for the FET in January.

misunderstood peri -menopause treatment
Was offered
hysteroscopy
under NHS however not given the option for sedation. I refused and went privately. Without my consent a Mirena coil was placed inside of me to stem the bleeding. It did the job however at a great mental cost to myself.

Endo help
They’ll also want to do a
hysteroscopy
and check my uterine lining as well as flush my tubes. They’ll also take biopsies for infection and test for ca125. I decided to go ahead and am booked for surgery in a couple of weeks.

hysteroscopy for endo diagnosis?
He has decided the initial consultation will involve a
hysteroscopy
. My question is - really? Seeing as that one looks up your hoo-ha into your womb, is that a diagnosis tool for endo? Isn’t the womb the one place it isn’t, or am I being dumb? Still learning here. thanks gals x

I'm having a
hysteroscopy
under anesthesia for the mirena coil in hospital on weds as I have endometrium hyperplasia. My hormones have been all over the place this year and I've waited nearly a year to see a gynecologist because of the waiting lists.

laparoscopy
The Dr is willing to perform a
hysteroscopy
in the next few weeks to see if it has affected my endometrium. This is my next step…. Then hopefully another round of ICSI. Anyone else with adhesions? Care to share? I wish you all luck, wherever you are on your journey xx

Hysteroscopy - what to expect? Worried!!!
When I got the appointment letter it said that I would be having a
hysteroscopy
at the appointment. When I went to A&E last year because of awful pain and was referred to gynae, they mentioned
hysteroscopy
and said I could request a general anaesthetic if i needed it.
