hiya, I’m 26, (bmi 47)after an ultrasound they accidentallly found 18mm thickening of the womb which become cystic.

I have to go under anaesthesia to get a hysteroscopy. I’m worried about my BMI but also the procedure; anyone got any advise/ stories (apart from loose weight obviously 🙄) I’m in the process of loosing weight but doesn’t come off easy diagnosed PCOS and under active thyroid.

I’m so worried I won’t be able to conceive ☹️

I'm in the same boat with the BMI thing but I've had the hysteroscopy. I wasn't knocked out for it though. It's pretty painless, and I'm guessing they're looking for cancerous signs as your endometrium is thicker than it should be. Don't panic. It's an ok procedure, just a bit unusual.
