Hi ladies, hope everyone is doing as well as possible. I'm 5 weeks post op for my first lap for DIE, large cysts organs stuck together. All the good stuff. I've recovered pretty well and feel ok now. I'm on Utrogestan 200mg to hopefully stop my period and reduce chances of regrowth. I also take NAC, DIM, calcium d glucarate, omega 3, magnesium.
All I read is women having multiple surgeries for severe disease. I have adenomyosis too so I know I may need a hysterectomy at some point. I just wanted to know if there's anyone out there that just needed one surgery for DIE then lived happily ever after? I know its probably a silly question. Just looking for some positivity as I'm stressing about it growing back quickly.

I know this might sound silly but this is probably the wrong place to ask this question. If there are wonderful unicorns out there who don't suffer anymore and had 'one and done’, they wouldn't likely still be on a support forum, so unfortunately you may get skewed results asking here.
I would say enjoy any relief you get from yours for as long as you can! x
Can I just say I totally get where you coming from? There is so much uncertainty around this issue that we are there always hoping to find THAT solution, THAT thing that will save us.
I keep having this delusional feeling I will get out of this, I will find a way… truth is that this feeling keeps me going somehow. Because probably if I were to give up to what my life looks like going forward it just makes me want to cry.
So I cry up a full day, think about it and enjoy the positive moments thinking I can do this, I’ll go through.
Sending a huge hug and wishing you to find that unicorn (please share if you do) x
Ah thank you for relating. We need a bit of hope to cling to don't we? I'm having my first period after surgery so feeling a bit sorry for myself. Going to up the uterogestan to 300mg and hope the bunch of supplements I take will make the unicorn appear! Hugs 🥰
