Hysterectomy. Thanks and goodbye
I am having to out a big complaint in, as how can you miss fibroids that large 😢 I have been expedited and have my
hysterectomy
next week. I can't wait. I will be putting in a big complaint due to the misdiagnosis. The original ultrasound scan missed the fibroids too.

I was only diagnosed with endometriosis last year after at the age of 51 after a
hysterectomy
6 years ago. Retained ovaries.. Although I always suspected I had it due to my horrendous periods..

Provera advice
My consultant has recommended I go on Provera (10mg twice a day) until I have a
hysterectomy
at some point in the next year. I’d be on it permanently, so no breaks. I stupidly googled (because apparently I’m a sucker for punishment) and the « clean out » sounds terrifying. Has anyone been on it?

ovary removed, womb with mirena coil still there . Now in full menopause has anyone else been thru this ? Wot was your journey?
they suspected ovarian cancer so was operated on 2 weeks ago where there the plan was full
hysterectomy
but they where unable to do this due to severe endo n womb adhered to bowel so badly id have ended up with s stoma n as ovarian tumour there was no rational to take such extreme measures.

The theory is, if the pain stops I can go straight for a full
hysterectomy
to avoid many potential laparoscopies in the years to come. Bit scary making big decisions without fully understanding consequences etc. Anyone got any experience to share?

Is hysterectomy my only option?
Doctor has now mentioned
hysterectomy
. I'm waiting for a recent CT scan. Doctor has not mentioned drainage or any other options . Please can someone advise? Not sure what to do or who to speak to :-(

A book recommendation from my Doctor.
As it turns out I’ve had a full
hysterectomy
so it didn’t apply. It’s worth mentioning I thought. I’ve been put on medication for restless legs, sleep and sickness and Omeprazole. I’m feeling much more optimistic today and am looking forward to ‘managing’ the condition now. X

Gynae appointment
Despite asking for full
hysterectomy
, I was told that now I’m menopausal and on HRT there is no point as symptoms and pain will settle down and I will just have to live with pain.

Hello
I was telling her I plan on getting a
hysterectomy
Ina year or two because of the severity and I've already had two surgeries in 3 years. When I was diagnosed I was already at stage 3 then at my last surgery it had escalated and my overies had adhesion to my uterus. And she replied "and?..."

liver concerns
I had clear cell ovarian cancer and had debulking surgery and
hysterectomy
a year ago. I recently had sudden right side and back pain and had a scan with blood work. Everything came out ok except my liver numbers (ast and alt) were super high. Could this indicate the start of a reoccurrence?

what to try next?
I'm 40 now and wondering whether I could talk someone into giving me a
hysterectomy
. But I'm guessing that my current situation is being caused by regrowth of some of the deep endo, so I don't know if a
hysterectomy
would do much good on it's own.
