In the UK, for major surgery, there is usually a pre-procedure interview a few days before and another on the day when the consent form is signed, when all aspects of your health are covered, so that the team can take the necessary steps during the procedure to monitor and manage anything that will interfere with the procedure and/or cause the individual distress or harm. This is usually managed by the anaesthetist. And after the procedure there is in-house care and monitoring until you are fit enough to be discharged with a care package. I am sure the process is similar in the US, and you will be given more than enough chance to discuss your angina condition so that the teams responsible for your care can take it on board and balance your procedure needs with your heart condition.
Sorry to hear that, but as Lowerfield_no_more says the pre op and the morning of where you'll speak to the anaesthetists will hopefully put your mind at rest when discussing the worry of your angina and the effect surgery may have. Please let us know how it goes and I wish you a speedy recovery 🤞
