The injection stimulates the ovaries first then calms down. It usually takes around 3 months on average to completely calm and work (although I'm still bleeding in month 5). The tibilone is very low dose HRT to protect your bone mass. The introduction of estrogen may be why you are flaring up. It should settle. I had excruciating pain after second injection - I thought the endometrioma had burst - but it went away. Don't do anything to add to the inflammation. Don't drink alcohol and I'd cut back on grains. Try not to be stressed as this makes it worse. Xxx
Hi Chartolfrey,It is really weird the side effects that come with Zoladex. I have had my 3rd injection and still bleeding. Back pain has reduced but lingers or flares whenever.
I am waiting for a hysterectomy too. I am severly tired. The doc says it part of the effect of zoladex. I am also on Norethisterone and the Mirena. I am just taking one day at a time. It seems there's not much the doctors can do?
I continue with mindful nutrition and exercise when I have the energy.
I am sorry your pain is increasing. I will say keep the doctors informed, take care of yourself as much as you can🙏💛
Hey i am sorry you are going through this its so hard so when I had mine it was straight forward had a few cuts on my abdomen but the gas they put into you it can a bit painful but if you rub the tip of your shoulder it helps release the gas like when you release some trapped wind i am currwntly waiting in surgery as I hqve pcos stage 4 endo adenomyosis fibroids too My need a bowel resection good luck
