How to increase my platelet count naturally
Since my
hysterectomy
my CA125 has decreased from 157 (prior to my
hysterectomy
) to the teens now and was told today all my other levels were OK. The hospital said it's the chemo that has caused my platelet count to drop.

Left side pelvic pain will not go away
*I did have a
hysterectomy
2 yrs ago. My primary doc wonders if it could be scar tissue? Could it really be that simple? 🤷🏻‍♀️

I was already on the waiting list for surgery but he seemed to think I needed to be treated as a more urgent case. apparently my ovaries are now so damaged they touch and it looks like i will need at least a partial

How to support someone going through chemotherapy
First diagnosed in 2017, had
hysterectomy
, recurred in 2019 and had a hormone treatment followed by chemotherapy in 2020. She’s now been told the tumours are growing again and will have to have chemotherapy again.

Start Over or Decrease Dose
(I am also estrogen dominant due to being put on oral estradiol with no progesterone for many years after a
hysterectomy
, so trying to sort that out as well. I am on compounded estrogen and progesterone now for close to 3 weeks.)

Appointment with Gynae- who clearly wasn’t interested
Honestly I felt like the guy wasn’t all that interested, he barely even asked me my symptoms, he didn’t even ask how bad or where my pain was , he told me I had adenomyosis from an internal exam and then basically said there is no cure other than a
hysterectomy
or hormonal contraceptives which I refused

Anyone had a surgeon who operates on a 'Frozen Pelvis' for a second time?
I had full
hysterectomy
and both ovaries removed. My bowel had to be dissected due to the adhesions and I was left with a stricture in the sigmoid colon. It took a while to get over. Couldn't take HRT as the hormones caused the pain to come back, and also due to blood pressure issues.

Decapeptyl for fibroids
Hi, I am six weeks into having the decapeptyl injections to shrink a 7 cm fibroid prior to surgery - myomectomy or
hysterectomy
. I haven’t had any menopausal symptoms and my bleeding has fluctuated the full time either light or the big gushes.

Does the Mirena increase PMDD symptoms?
The injection is a short term trial while I decide if I will go ahead with a
hysterectomy
and the disturbing thought of an early onset of menopause if the ovaries are taken.

Large Fibroids and upcoming surgery
I have surgery to have a total
hysterectomy
, I am really struggling with this. Has anyone else had a
hysterectomy
and not yet had children? How did it feel after? What was recovery like? Also, I am having a vertical incision...What is that like?

Night sweats a symptom of endo?
I'm 37, I don't take any hormone medications and I haven't had a
hysterectomy
. Just wondering if anyone else has this as a symptom. I've been told by my consultant that it's not a symptom, but then it's listed on my endo app, so wondering if there's anecdotal evidence for this.

Can anyone discuss having a full hysterectomy with me please?
I have a benign cyst on my ovary, which seems to have been there ages and shows no signs of going away on it's own. Ive been having a lot of symptoms which may be caused by it. I am 64 so of course have gone through the menopause. My consultant wants to give me a full hystectomy, but I am uncertain
