Has anyone else struggled after catheter?
I'm hoping it's enough otherwise I'll be back for a
hysterectomy
to get rid of the adeno too. I found out the day before surgery I would be catheterised. This was fine until the catherer was removed a day later, when I really struggled to empty my bladder again.

HE4 blood test
Mine was 29 the night before my
hysterectomy
. That was in 2020 and the CA125 since then has been in the single digits even when it recurred in 2022. My June 2023 CT scan didn’t show evidence of the disease. Doc is also using the HE4 as a marker. It’s 126 now. It’s been steadily climbing.

Advice Please
I have had 16 gynaecological operations starting at aged 13 and ending 23 years ago a day before my 40th birthday when I had an emergency
hysterectomy
where for some reason they left my cervix. Following my op they tried HRT but my BP shot up so I was taken off it.

No endo found
Was started on Zoladex for 6 months and added to the list for a total
hysterectomy
. Fast forward to yesterday, I couldn’t wait anymore on the nhs, I paid to have a private
hysterectomy
. The consultant found no endometriosis and said everything looked healthy!

Operations and GMC
Hi I’ve had a complaint in with GMC for a long time, it was about not having the
hysterectomy
with colorectal involvement which meant I had to have a further op for bowel adhesions as they were left.

af and endrocrinologist
I am prediabetic on metformin and had a full
hysterectomy
a few years ago. I am not on hrt and have had no menopausal symptoms. Would seeing an endocrinologist be beneficial in anyway? I am trying to see if maybe there is some underlying cause bc nothing else has worked.

Hysterectomy with removal of ovaries

post hysterectomy issues?
I’ve just had a total
hysterectomy
because I had cancer. The surgeons assistant said there was a LOT of endometriosis stuck to everything. They had never diagnosed this (or indeed a second completely different cancerous tumour on my ovary) so now I’m thinking… what about the endometriosis?

Not sure what to do....
Because at least I knew myself despite the crippling pain, or do I continue down this route on the waiting list for the
hysterectomy
and seal this in as my fate at 35 years old? I have never felt more hopeless about my health. I am such a strong woman, but this is truly breaking me.

prostrap injections
I am listed for a total
hysterectomy
but start (thursday!) prostrap injections to see how I would cope with no ovaries (with add back HRT) and to check the effect on my terrible ovulation symptoms. I was wondering if any of you can give me any insight in to your experience of propstrap please?

Add back hrt with Zoladex
The consultant (who’s booked me for a
hysterectomy
and endo excision) gave me Evoril Conti - 2 patches in and I’ve got stomach cramp, pelvic pain, headache. Is this me overthinking? Psychosomatic somehow? My op is next month, after another Zoladex implant.
