A bit late for me but...

A bit late for me as I am a woman who has just passed her 60 years milestone, but I wanted to share my experience anyway. I dont think it will be news to people on this forum though, so not sure if should be sharing it here. I had painful periods from day one and regularly ended up in Nurses room at school. Several days in each month would be wasted days as that was all I could cope with. It was commented by a GP, while changing coil, that I had endometriosis when about mid 30s, but nothing was actioned on this ( I don't know what could or couldn't be done then). Apart from coping with my periods biggest thing was pain during sex and could never really form a satisfying relationship here ( good job I identify as bisexual). I dont think it was realised what a big impact this has on a persons life in the past and possibly even now by some and wanted to add my voice and just be heard anyway. I had a hysterectomy when I was about 55 for fibroids mainly but was still having painful periods at times previous to this . That is about 40 years worth! I wish all the woman on this forum well and hope they have a different experience and better one.
