Hi All I ve not rote on here for a while as things were stable. However August I decided to stop the Zoladex injection due to the bone pain, moods and hair loss. While on it my periods stopped and my bowels worked, when I stopped it after about 7 days I bleed very heavy with large clots for around

Stomach problems
I had my hysterectomy last July and then six sessions of chemo which finished last November. Since February this year I have been taking Niraparib and not been to bad. However over the last couple of months I have had stomach pain which has been intermittent but seems to be more frequent recently. This

pros and cons of hysterectomy vs decapeptyl injections for fibroids
Hi- wondering if anyone else had to make a decision between continuing decapeptyl injections (simulate menopause to control fibroids) or having open hysterectomy? Been on the injections a year now. There isn’t much research on long term use of injections which ‘switch off’ your hormones, and I can

Levothyroxine V Progesterone/Estrogen dominance?
Is it possible that I’ve gone down the wrong road to feel well? Two years after starting Estrogen only treatment for menopause I developed hypothyroid symptoms. I always assumed I didn’t need progesterone as I’ve had a hysterectomy. However, I recently discovered the key role that progesterone plays

Bowel shave 3 months on
Hi everyone I had a hysterectomy and oophorectomy in june, along with a bowel shave and excission. In the last 3 weeks ive found that if I need the loo for a number 2 I need to go immediately and have had alot of pain in my pelvis before hand, similar pain although not as intense as pre surgery.

HRT patches
Can anyone give an idea of what could be causing the following please? Taking estrogen patches - had a total hysterectomy - became even more ill with all sorts of symptoms that pointed to low estrogen. Patches are the solution, terrific, help in many ways, feel better than have for many years. But I

Clothing for endo
I had a hysterectomy back in March and because I have endo on my bowel, I’m still suffering so much with my stomach, including really bad bloating 😔 my job involves me standing on my feet all day and I’m struggling to even find comfortable smart trousers with elasticated waists. I’m hoping just by changing

Question please?
I am taking estrogen and it is helping me a great deal. I now realise I should have been taking it for the past twenty years or so, oh well. Better late than never. They gave me a total hysterectomy a while back so now have no ovaries at all. They said I had endeomestris. I know I have polyps/fibroids

Asking a question on behalf of my Mum with regards to a hysterectomy. Ladies who have had it what did you keep?
My mum is 51 has always suffered with extremely heavy periods and as she has gotten older this has gotten significantly worse. After being put on iron tablets and tranexamic acid by the GP with not much relief she was referred to a gynaecologist. The gynaecologist examined her and said her uterus
