Hi all....
As I have had some training in
hypnotherapy
and pain management, am happy to offer advice and a sympathetic ear. I am now working on a website and can give further info when it's up and running.

Hello and help please! Just joined up.
Hello, just came across this site after surfing the net for the miracle cure, as we do! Anyway, I am a 46 year old male, worked in the forestry/tree surgery business most of my life. I live in constant pain due to a motocross, motorbike jump going wrong, back in 2000. I fell off at 20ft high and landed

Baby girl arrived 14.7.16
Hi all, My baby arrived on Thu - healthy baby girl delivered at home as planned (I was so relaxed I didn't need pain relief!) No hypnosis cd this time at all as not recommended by NHS after pp. I took Ariprizole 10mg on delivery and will be for a year or two, no side effects are noticeable yet but

Things I like, things that help and things which don't
Someone asked what my days are like, what do I do, what helps and what not. So I thought I would put my thoughts down, knowing that these might be absolutely useless or immaterial to others.
Things I like:
My cat Tootsie (Princess) :) She is a rescue cat (who Kevin says is a lovely motley moggie

APS Fibromyalgia and what else
Hello all, it's been a while since I last posted but have been having a stressful time. After my initial diagnosis of fibro I was told to just read a leaflet and go swimming which was not very helpful in managing my conditions however everything was ticking along until just before Christmas. I suddenly

Self meditation or hypnosis with a trained therapist?
I go to yoga twice weekly and most days meditate, but my anxiety levels are still significantly high, not sure it's worth paying for
hypnotherapy
sessions, any thoughts.

My 7 Steps to Health
So, I've had a lot of improvement in my health after being diagnosed with PBC and NAFLD (Fatty Liver Disease). People have asked me how I did it, so here's a little more detail. I organised it into 7 steps. Also, if you click on my name Chynablue it takes you to my profile and you can read my posts

OFF CONVENTIONAL THERAPIES ONTO HYDRO & ACUPUNCTURE
as a 14 year sufferer I have now stopped medications with the help of medics and specialist physio, occupational therapist and g.p. Too many side affects, very little relief from drugs. I was introduced to Hydrotherapy some years ago and I have found it the best for relieving sore muscles and pumping

RA treatment and the postcode lottery.
Some conditions such as Cancer have national waiting times and minimum expectations for treatment, and rightly so. Others like mental health and RA seem to be a real postcode lottery. At my hospital I haven't had x-rays taken for years until I complained and they begrudgingly took them of my feet, hands

The Theory Didn't Work
I thought if I could chase anxiety , anxiety would leave me alone but thats not the case. All I know is that it comes in waves. A week might be good and then it will start up the following week. I'm trying to focus on meditation and hypnosis but that doesn't seem to impact me very much, It reduces

Pain Clinic and other assorted short horror stories!
I had an appointment this week with the 'Pain Management Consultant'. My first experience with him (as some of you may remember) was a disaster. I was awaiting a total knee replacement and wanted to try and cut down my various (& numerous) medications before the surgery. His advice was to 'just stop

Disappointed by Rheumy appointment yesterday. Honest opinions needed please. Sorry in advance that this is so long.
I saw my Rheumatologist yesterday and have been left frustrated yet again. It was a 9 month check. The nurse weighed me and did my blood pressure before the Rheumy called me in. She asked me how I had been and I said not good really. I had a flare up September / October 2015 and January / February

IBS for 12 years + my story
I also tried probiotics - the best on the market, and
hypnotherapy
and all sorts. This all cost a lot of money - I must have spent at least £1000 or more.

Palindromic Rheumatism or Ankylosing Spondylitis? No one seems to agree, but I do know I'm no longer coping with the pain
It's a long time since I've posted. I've needed space and time to process. I flung myself into work and have used obsessive over-working as a way of distracting me; so I wouldn't have time to think or dwell on how bad I've felt on so many occasions. This morning, I've started a video diary of my symptoms
