hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy
A friend of mine with osteoporosis recently broke her leg and used
Hyperbaric
Oxygen
therapy
which accelerated healing and apparently stimulates osteoclasts. Has anyone here used this for osteoporosis without a fracture, and if so, do you have results to share?

I have a friend who contracted Lyme disease and recently underwent a series of
hyperbaric
oxygen
therapy
sessions. The treatment has completely transformed him and he is now his old self.

Anyone tried hyperbaric Oxygen therapy?
My bestie who is battling ovarian cancer is using this as part of her overcoming cancer plan and reckons it really helps. It gives her a boost of energy and seemes to have helped get her through the chemo stages with hardly any fatigue or sickness. It seems to be endorsed at least unofficially by many

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy
Hi, I’ve heard recently that
hyperbaric
oxygen
therapy
is good for certain conditions- does anyone have any experience of this with RA? I had a severe flare at the beginning of Feb, and I really don’t feel like my over it, getting fed up of the pain and fatigue.

I take a concoction of vitamins and regularly do hot cold

and
hyperbaric

. Side affects on your hormones from the meds will always be hard work but the longer it goes on the less the side affects appear impactful.

Why not give Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) as Adjunctive Therapy a Try?
I am thinking this will likely be my last post, unless something dramatic shakes out. Remember LTC CHESTY PULLER'S, USMC, comment, Battle of the Chosin Resvoir, North Korea, 1950. "The bas..... are in front of us and at our rear. They are on our right flank and our left flank. They won't get

How to get bladder to hold urine again? Bladder training?
It did make life easier and made doing
hyperbaric
oxygen
therapy
easier. I am at the point of trying to get my bladder back to holding urine as recommended by my urologist.

After 20 sessions of

last year, and 50 sessions this year ending late March (second round needed because of recurrence), I have been completely free of any bleeding , even a tinge, since early May.

bleeding after hyperbaric oxygen therapy
I had prostate cancer and prostate removed late 2018, 6 months later had 35 rounds of radiation in prostate bed because PSA was rising. All was ok until October 2022 when I had a heart attack. Cardiologist put me on blood thinners and 3 weeks later I had severe hematuria and had to be hospitalized.

a friend with MS got me into this, we are lucky to have an MS centre with a hyperbaric chamber in Hereford. Pneumocystis pneumonia - PCP
I am just making people aware of the above. This is fungi that in a healthy person would resolve in days. However, in immunosuppressed it can be fatal. I have never heard of this before. Because of taking immune surpression, this fungi has knocked me off my feet. I have been admitted to hospital, now

Oxygen therapy
I have been referred for this and told I would get a visit at home. Just had first chest infection and inpatient stay, 3 days. Antibiotics worked super well, plus excellent ambulance crew. What is involved with oxygen at home, is it a small mobile cylinder? Do I take it everywhere. How does it work

Oxygen therapy
I am helping to look after my 88 year old sister at present. She has been prescribed ambulatory oxygen therapy following a diagnosis of pulmonary hypertension, I think related to her Protein S Deficiency. She is frail and even the small oxygen cylinders are heavy and difficult for her to use but oxygen

I don't recall seeing this mentioned on here but was wondering if anyone had experiences of being discharged home with Oxygen after an ICU stay. I'm a month out of hospital (after a total stay of 8 months). I was discharged with a CPAP machine for OSA and prescribed 1l of oxygen at night whilst in the
