Hydrosalpinx: pausing IVF
So after a very emotional morning where I saw my scarily dilated tube on a screen, 2 super-grade embryos have been frozen (with 2 more being watched), and I'll be having surgery to remove the blocked tube before an FET next year. Me again...
So I've been thinking, I have PCO so that's a reason to put me on Clomid, but my tubes are damaged from bilateral
hydrosalpinx
, so putting me on clomid would be a waste of time really wouldn't it because my tubes can't fertilise the egg? Can I push this theory on them or will they realise it?

Looking for some advice about Hydrosalpinx
I saw my gynae with regards to my
hydrosalpinx
his 1st step was to put me on another course of antibiotics as some swabs showed a sign of an infection, have another scan, go back in 8 weeks and he said surgery will then be discussed.

Hydrosalpinx - The wait begins again!
He explained that he thought my
hydrosalpinx
was caused due to an infection that had shown up on some swabs they did when i was in hospital and that i had PID.

Follicle scan - pannicking already!
I know I sound crazy, but I feel like my original gynaecologist sent me down this negative path by telling my that ovaries don't always behave normally after a
hydrosalpinx
/salpingectomy, although the nurse at the ivf clinic did tell me this isn't true ?!

Pregnancy with blocked tube??
The problem is I have had one tube removed due to
hydrosalpinx
, and the other tube has been left inside me but I was told it's also blocked. Apparently not with a hyrdo though, just scar tissue . So doc told me I would need ivf as it's highly unlikely I will fall naturally.

More consequences of mesh rectopexy
They call it
hydrosalpinx
. Also found this great article how pelvic surgery damages the nerves and causes pain - even some treatment has been proposed. http://www.possover.com/files/media/de/beckenschmerzen/pelvic_pain_after_surgery_for_prolapse_2012.pdf

Just had second scan
My understanding (after a little google research) is that you can get a
hydrosalpinx
from damage to the tube by getting clamidia, ectopic pregnancy and endometriosis (presumably an operation too). As I haven't had the first two could a diagnosis be far behind?

Hydrosalpinx
I'm going through a second cylce of ivf. We were successful with our first cycle but unfortunately miscarried at 11 weeks. Up until now all scans and tests including the hsg have come back clear and we were diagnosed with unexplained infertility. I've just come back from a second scan monitoring ovary
