Hydrosalpinx

Hi everyone, I have been asked to get a laparoscopy to check for a hydrosalpinx and have it sorted before a clinic in Spain can get us approved for the guarantee program.

There is also an endometriosis cyst and hydrosalpinx present. My right ovary however couldn't be seen. I have had 3 scans within the last 3 months and both ovaries could be seen. The most recent scan was 6 weeks ago. He also said that he couldn't see any hydrosalpinx on the right hand side.

I am stage 4 with a cyst on either ovary (4cm and 5cm), adhesions, kissing ovaries and hydrosalpinx in one of my tubes. My surgeon is hoping to go in and remove a lot of the endo, unstick my ovaries and remove the tube with hydrosalpinx.

I also have an cyst on my ovary, possibly a hydrosalpinx affecting my fallopian tube which they want to remove when I have my laparoscopy. Has anyone had back passage bleeding with endo but had a clear colonoscopy?

I need to get my fallopian tubes removed due to hydrosalpinx in both tubes. Has anyone ever had their tubes removed and then went on to do IVF stims?

Also interested if anyone would be willing to share any experience of having a hydrosalpinx? I'm struggling a lot with lower back pain and trying to gauge if this is the cause 🤔 Thanks for reading 📚

Prior to booking our FET, i underwent a unilateral salpingectomy to remove 1 fallopian tube due to hydrosalpinx. It's been a lot, but trying to do everything we can in hope of a successful pregnancy.

The consultant discovered that my right fallopian tube is swollen and diagnosed a hydrosalpinx, he asked me if anyone had flagged this before (they haven't and nor did the first dr who scanned me today). He said I couldn't have further IVF until this is sorted.

I have emergency laparoscopy surgery in october to remove a hydrosalpinx, they never mentioned endo and I was never offered a follow up, I also had another laparoscopy in 2021 which was a ruptured ovarian cyst, again no mention of endo, it seems like it's getting worse as the years go on but no diagnosis

both my tubes have hydrosalpinx (the left more severe than the right) and my doctor recommended taking both tubes out before starting ivf. Wanted to see if there are any other women going through the same with bilateral hydrosalpinx

They may cut the tubes because of possible Hydrosalpinx and if damaged. I can try IVF after this they've told me , I'm just worried are they going to keep my eggs and use them for the IVF process when they may be healthy? Or chucked them away just because my tubes may be damaged?

After the cycles, I am on a list to have my fallopian tubes removed (due to the hydrosalpinx). I would recover from that and then go over to Spain a few months later for embryo transfer. My stress levels are quite high at the moment.

I have done hydrosalpinx surgery to cut apart of ovarian tube. Pls give me your advices. I’m worried about ovarian cancer. Thank you.

I’m 50, diagnosed 13 years ago and experienced all the usual stuff with Stage 4 (life-long non diagnosis, large endometriomas, x2 laparotomies, x1 laparoscopy, tubal clipping, hydrosalpinx and 8 failed IVFs).

Hi there all I have a hydrosalpinx which is 6cm and they don't seem to be so fussed about removing it.. I also have possible endometriosis due to a uterus repair surgrey in 2021 ... the ultrasound picked up my hydrosalpinx it was 4cm n now it is nearly 6cm 2months after..
