Hydros and IVF
I had surgery nearly a year ago, he found bilateral
hydrosalpinx
and did tubal surgery to open them again, he said they would come back just a matter of when.

Starting the process, appreciate some light on the situation
I had a HSG in November, I had another scan in December, and I have all my files showing I have endometriosis, Adenomyosis,
hydrosalpinx
, PCO and PID. So we know what state my tubes are in, I have no cilia left its all damaged, which was confirmed in surgery last year.

Excision tomorrow and salpingectomy..stopping in overnight?
Had a diagnostic lap in October for a suspected
hydrosalpinx
. They drained it and told me afterwards they'd found Endometriosis. The surgeon was actually quite blasé about it. For me it was a Eureka! moment and all my symptoms clicked. I found an Endometriosis specialist & having excision tmrw.

Struggling
I'm scared though of what will happen even if we do ever become pregnant - as well as well as endo there are cysts on each ovary, a fibroid and possible
Hydrosalpinx
. I would have another surgery if I thought it would help but I'm not sure it's safe to do so. Sorry this is a bit jumbled X

Post menopausal huge cyst but normal ca 125
Have had a number of surgeries in the past most recently for
hydrosalpinx
. Recent symptoms of swollen abdomen revealed 20cm cyst on left side but need an MRI to determine where it's growing from. However have just found out CA 125 is normal.

Traumatic laparoscopy yesterday
My dye test showed my right tube is clear, my left tube where the
hydrosalpinx
is did let some dye in and he could see it moving through but due to time constraint by the anaesthetist couldn't see if it came out the other end.

Delay period after Laparoscopy for tubes removal
I had a lap on 06th November which was cycle day 18, to remove bilateral
hydrosalpinx
and endo from my right overy. My period was due on 17th of November , but i missed it. i thought that was a because of the surgery. Still no periods but i had mild bleeding last night and now it is totally gone.

Insides complete mess! Ivf to be or not to be? Advice very welcome!
I also still have some of the large mass on my right ovary the IVF centre wanted sorting out which the endo specialists couldn't fully remove due to being too risky and they couldn't get to or find my right tube with the
hydrosalpinx
.

Losing hope and feeling let down
I then asked if the IVF consultant would want me to have it removed and he said no as it's not
hydrosalpinx
and there's no reason to remove it as it is now clear and flowing freely.

pain from Hydros?
Hello all, I was wondering if anyone who has had/has a
hydrosalpinx
, did it cause you pain and how did it feel? Where was it centred to? I know I have hydros but I'm unwilling to remove both tubes if it isn't the root cause of my pain.

Hydrosalpinx NHS
Does anybody know how long it takes to have your tubes removed via NHS? I've got my referral on 10th August, that took 2 months, for a HSG but I've decided I want my tubes removed, they are just really bothering me now. Thank you in advance!

Introducing me
My right Fallopian tube is blocked with
hydrosalpinx
, which is causing toxic fluid to kill off everything, and is possibly leaking into the uterus causing eggs/embryos from my left side to terminate too.

BSGE appointment yesterday
Outcome is I have left
hydrosalpinx
and maybe also right
hydrosalpinx
, probably have adhesions from past 2 bowel surgeries not related to endo and maybe also have endo. 1 surgical treatment he has suggested is doing a hysterectomy and bilateral salpingo oopherectomy laparoscopically.

Fed up of sugar-coating. Little rant but also question
He also did tubal surgery because he found : 'bilateral
hydrosalpinx
with fimbrial block, both Fallopian tubes much more dialated than at laparoscopy'. I had another surgery on 18th March, where my tubes were slightly dialated, but with no blockage and only one
hydrosalpinx
.

New here, where do you begin the Journey?
I have endometriosis, (just had successful TPPE) Adenomyosis, bilateral
hydrosalpinx
, blocked tubes (just opened but not for long :( ) and PID. I'm a high risk for miscarriage & ectopic. So my question is, how do I begin the IVF process?!

Starting my journey
I'm having my tubes removed shortly due to having two
hydrosalpinx
on either side of my tubes.

Not sure what to think anymore
On reading around here last night though, it seems
Hydrosalpinx
can also adversely affect both ivf and implantation! I worry we really are up against it.

Another negative
A little bit about me had my tubes clipped in 2009 due to ectopic and
hydrosalpinx
. Low AMH slightly raised FSH also diminished ovarian reserve, I have secondary infertility. Had my son from a previous relationship when I was 19 no problems. My husband has no issues.

Infertile at 24
After the long process of testing (as a lot of you will know) I was finally diagnosed with
Hydrosalpinx
and blocked tubes, the left side especially large and swollen. Our only way to conceive would be through IVF.

Endometriosis Stage 4 + Hydrosalpinx
Also, my left tube has
hydrosalpinx
. I am trying to get pregnant. Can anyone please suggest me is it possible to get pregnant naturally with these complications. What treatment should I go for? I am so confused and worried right now. Any advise or suggestion is much appreciated.
