Update: NEPC Treatment
A few people messaged me regarding updates about my dad’s participation in Duke CHAMP trial for small cell/NEPC. He was admitted into trial Dec ‘23 and received 3 immunotherapy infusions until he had a very severe allergic reaction causing intense itching and grade 4 red rash all over his body. He admitted

Bloating due to intolerance
Hello everyone, I'm new to this forum, this is my first post. For at least 10 years I have been intolerant to lactose and eggs and I didn't know it, every time I complained to the doctor that I was bloated very often and had diarrhea, they blamed it on gallstones (confirmed by abdominal ultrasound).

Can You Give Up High Fructose Corn Syrup and Emulsifiers?
I consider the Daily Mail my medical advice bible (just kidding) but check this out:
I'm a doctor on the frontlines of America's colon cancer crisis - I believe two ingredients found in 'healthy' foods are to blame

Necessary cofactors and dosages for Vitamin b12 injections to work
Can anyone inform me as to all the necessary cofactors and dosages that need to be taken to ensure Vitamin b12 injections work. I have the MTHFR gene and slow COMT so is folic acid a bad idea?

My latest colonoscopy showed proctitis and an ulcer, I'm taking mesalazine suppositories which stopped the bleeding, I was taking

After 2 weeks of alternate day b12 injections I have developed a sore red tip on my tongue, is the b12 making me deficient in something else? Or what could be possibly going on? Any advice?

Hi everyone, earlier this year I had stomach issues and pain in my lower right side and blood in my stool and got a CT scan which didn't find anything and then got some more medicine which didn't 100% solve the issue (you can read all about it in my 1st post) , anyways due to time and me being busy

IBD-colitis
Information but comment: I have ulcerative colitis. My specialist nurse told me that some people with IBD also suffer with RLS. As high as 20%. I have an appointment with my GP next week, I will see if she was aware of this relationship. Previously I asked her to prescribe Dipyridamole for RLS, and

Chronic constipation and no definitive diagnosis
Hi all, I've had problems with constipation ever since I was a child. I'm now in my mid 20s and have been to the doctors countless times regarding my constipation. My latest appointment, the doctor said I have slow bowels because my stools are always on the severely constipated end of the stool chart

Diverticulitis diet stages
I've read that a liquid diet should be followed when there's a flare up. Should you wait til pain has gone before moving on to soft diet? When should you resume fibre diet?
