panic attacks
I have panic attacks every morning. I lie down for hours. It has gotten to be a habit. they say to face the fear but I’m not able to. I feel anxious all day. I have tried many medications but none have helped. Clonazepam helps a little and mirtazapine for sleep

does it ever completely go away?
I had a medical procedure that was in itself very traumatic and also reactivated a childhood trauma. I have been in CBT for 2 1/2 years and recently started EMDR. I want this all to just go away! However, as in the case of the childhood trauma, which I thought had been dealt with, I fear I will always

Starting on Verzenio
Hello all my fellow thrivers! After taking Piqray + monthly shots of Fulvestrant and Zoladex for more than a year, my latest pet scan revealed progression and found new mets in liver, lymph nodes and bone. Therefore, my oncologist is starting me on Verzenio 100mg next week while keeping my Fulvestrant

Paclitaxel and hair loss
hi everyone, I have just had my 3rd paclitaxel today, I am on weekly doses via IV and have no signs of my hair falling out? Not even a slight bit? I’m concerned that it means it’s not working, has this happened to anyone else or does the hair loss come a little later down the line?

Autophagy could be bad for those who have cancer?
I was already aware for a few years that autophagy, which is triggered by intermittent fasting and long fasts, is very useful to prevent cancer as it is recycles old damaged proteins that could otherwise turn into cancer and also because it helps your body produce new cells and refreshes your immune

Finally diagnosed after twenty years!
I have finally got a diagnosis of IBS after at least twenty years of endoscopies, colonoscopies, scans, investigations, etc, etc. Strangely I feel much better even though they say it's a lifelong condition with no cure. My problem today is that it's after half past six in the evening, I have had one

Experiences with urso, ocaliva and bezafibrate
Hi everyone!I was just curious about your experiences taking a combination of udca, ocaliva 10 mg and bezafibrates. Does it improve the itching? Did you notice any unwanted side effect from bezafibrate, e.g. in kidneys? Thanks for sharing and stay healthy and motivated!

Raised Liver Markers - Octasa/ Mesalamine?
I started taking Octasa for Crohns in October 23. Just had blood tests (for another issue) and dr called to say that my liver enzyme markers were raised (ALT 255, AST 99, ALP 239, GT 334.. all substantially above the top end of normal) and they want to do an ultrasound to check my liver. The only difference

colonoscopy query
I’m scheduled to endure a colonoscopy on 16th January. We are booked on a flight to Thailand on 1st February (14 hours) . Guidelines say two weeks should pass before flight so in theory ok. However this is a trip of a lifetime for us, much delayed and all booked before this cancer worry. I’ve no idea

Does this look like a malar rash? Would it be seen as one by a doctor, do you think?
I have had joint pain and tiredness for the last six years. This last year it has got significantly worse and although I am overweight, the pain is felt in my fingers and elbows sometimes. My heel and ankle are also badly affected. The fatigue is debilitating. I have also developed digestive issues

Nausea & Buprenorphine
I am waiting for my doctor to advise on an alternative anti nausea drug and to get him to prescribe sublingual Zofran. I have completed, without any success, the prescription the GP gave me for 5 days of Zofran and I am currently really struggling with the nausea 24 hours a day (milder during day though

Hello all, & blessed wishes during the Holiday Season. 🎄 I must admit I haven't been on here for a while, but I hope someone can give me some answers. I was diagnosed with Clear Cell Ovarian Cancer stage 4 in 2021. I have had 6 rounds of Chemo, & a total hysterectomy. I've been doing Avastin since
