Retzius Sparing surgeon recommendations
Hello everyone. I’m 49 years old. I was diagnosed with PCa in 2018. It was determined Gleason 3+3 after biopsy, so we decided on Active Surveillance. I checked PSA religiously every 6 months and it hovered around 5 the whole time since the diagnosis. Last year during summer I believe I started experiencing

Add Nubeqa to Orgovyx?
Age 81. I had prostate radiation in 2021, and pelvic node radiation in 2023. PSA was 3.78 in Dec 2023. PSMA PET then showed cancer growing in prostate, shrinking in pelvic node, but spread to an abdominal node. I have started ADT with Orgovyx (relugolix) and want to add an ARI. The urologist wants

MRI Results Help Please!
Hope everyone is doing well. I got my MRI results today and was looking for help with some of the jargon please. I know there is a lady who is very good with the medical terminology. Googled serosal disease and that didn't sound good. Dr told me it's significant endo, adeno, bowl stuck to ovaries. But

Cirrhosis & Diverticular disease
I was recently diagnosed with Diverticular disease and Cirrhosis of the liver, after having a Scan and colonoscopy. I was referred to the Gastroenterlogy department at the hospital for triaging and consultation with regard to the cirrhosis, but it looks as if both of those will take months to happen.

Do the NHS test for active b12 aswell a total b12?
I wonder because my sister was diagnosed with pernicious anemia years ago but now they say her b12 levels are really high normal.

Unsure of best option in early prostate cancer diagnosis.
I have had PSA tests annually for 10 years and in Oct 2023 had an elevated 6.42 result. Was referred to a urologist, whom performed a DRE. There was prostate enlargement but no tumor discovered through DRE. After discussing several options, I decided to have a biopsy on Nov 21, 2023. Dec 5, 2023,

Cholestyramine
My husband has had explosive diarrhea since mid February. After blood tests, stool samples, colonoscopy, and more stool samples, they are not able to determine what is causing the diarrhea. The doctor has prescribed Cholestyramine. Has anyone had experience with this medication and did it help?

hello all I’m new to this and thought I would give this forum a go and see how living with anxiety affects other people as well as myself as I know a lot of people have these disorders. I would appreciate any advice, feedback and suggestions to help me live a normal life. I wish you all well as I know

I am still struggling with treatment decisions - Help please.
I am struggling to decide on my treatment. The main point of conflict is HT or not, and LDR Brachytherapy (if I am eligible - because of a previous HOLEP) or IMRT. I also wonder if I should push hard for a 10-day earlier consultation at the risk of bad feeling. I welcome advice. In the UK - Referral
