Atrophic Gastritis
Hi everyone, I have deen trying slippery elm to no avail for general stomach discomfort. I sometimes feel as if I have a 'fist' moving around in my stomach. The 'fist'feeling then just stays perfectly still, I then feel like I need to stretch to accomodate the 'fist' and then it feels a little better

Iron blood test - definitive list
I got my recent blood test back, haven’t yet posted all results to my profile, but my ferritin was rock bottom (7 out of 7-271 range) so I’m going to get a full iron test before I share all the numbers here and decide my next med change. What should I ask for: Iron Total iron-binding capacity (TIBC

Complementary therapies?
I have just come to the end of the chemo radiation and seemingly I now wait about three months before having a PET scan and a fibroscopy to see how effective the treatment has been and what might be the next steps. Just for my own sense of well being I am thinking about trying some complementary therapies

SCT journey update No.2
Hi all, following on from my last post, have just heard from my clinical nurse that they have found three very good donor matches on the registers!! Have been somewhat impatient waiting but as this situation is so new and different for everyone, has been difficult to gauge what is right or wrong. Anyway

Hi again, re: Cannabis/THC use for PC
The answers I am getting are more for pain relief. Have there been any studies linking cannabis/THC to curative effects for PC or lowering PSA? Or is it just used for pain relief? Any studies on proven benefits beyond pain relief? Thanks so much. Ran across this study: ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc

Finishing Olaparib
I'm 2 yrs NED and have been taking Olaparib for that time. Oncologist now finishing me as he says that it will have longer term effects on bone marrow. BRCA negative but tumour positive for mutation. But I read on this feed that some of you have been taking it for longer. I don't want to stay on a drug

Remedies for low stomach acid
Hello. This is a follow up on a previous question. I did the baking soda test this morning to see if I had low stomach acid. I didn't belch at all so I guess that could suggest that I'm low !! I thought I would try some Betaine HCI with pepsin as that is quite often recommended. I asked my naturopath

Not impressed
Decided to go through my medical notes such as they are, and blood tests again now I'm more sensible again. All hospital consultations are missed off and consequently diagnoses. Oh, and there is a gp consultation noted that never took place. Basically my notes appear to be a mess. What really

THC/ Cannabis having Curative Effects for PC???
Ran across this study: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7503992/ But is there any proof that THC helps to cure PC or lower PSA? I believe it’s used for pain relief, but are its benefits been proven beyond that? Thank you very much.

Hello 👋 First post on this board. I have 4 kids, 2 diagnosed with Autism. My 5 year old son was diagnosed earlier this year although we knew for a while. He has speech delay and Selective Mutism due to severe anxiety. His anxiety is definitely the root problem which stops him from doing things like

Tips and Tricks for Panic Attacks
I’ve been through CBT, grounding, self visualization, etc. I know about rubber bands on my wrists to snap, 333, breathing exercises, sticking my face in ice water, aromatherapy. Are there other methods people are using to help get over active panic attacks? Just want to help each other. Thanks
