Weak positive

Hi there I had a weak positive ANA it said speckled and 1.80 My dr has said no other action needed.

Do I have the beginning of lupus. I already have type 1 diabetes, hashimoto and vitiligo.

Excellent link with good info but as a patient with other AI inflammatory disorders : type 1 diabetes and hypothyroidism you need specialist hospital consultant medics, diagnostic interpretation for each of those AI diseases. They all kick in…sadly eventually!😱

In my case my GP was floundering and diagnosis was beyond him!🥹 Took many long, suffering years!👆

Each of my SCLE, DLE, SLE, Type 1 diabetes, primary hypothyroidism and lupus nephritis disorders have been diagnosed and treated by consultant hospital medical specialists.

My GP has refused to do ANY medication adjustments saying, “ I did NOT prescribe those treatments”!🥹

Hence be careful with generalist, mainly ignorant doctors. There are many around but…?
