Does anyone experience anal/rectal discomfort when sitting on hard surfaces? I feel it comes and goes. I'm female and don't have hemorrhoids
What have doctors told you? Have you been diagnosed with anything?
Has anything helped?

Hi I had something similar to you caused by prolonged sitting I finely got a doctor to listen to me and sent me to a spinal clinic I was diagnosed with glutus maximus muscle damage and piriformus muscle damage , I was given some exercises to do which helped to relieve the symptoms hope this is some help
Make sure you don't have a sore or abscess in the area.
Well I am sorry you feel this way also I have been like this for months yes I have seen Doctor had a look said it was piles gave me special cream with steroid in it used it as directed but still like it now I wash there with a warm flannel/face cloth pat myself dry but still not very much better I put mine down 2 being constipated bloated as well as sluggish even walking or standing does very little 2 help so maybe a visit 2 your Doc may help but it's hard 2 get one this awkward tome of the year if you live in the UK maybe try NHS 111!!! that's all that I can offer sorry all the best 4 next year and take care xx
