I wanted to get on here and thank everyone for there input on my questions about PIQRAY. After all my do diligence on PIQRAY my oncologist threw me a curve ball and decided to go with Verzenio faslodex and xgeva. Because i had higher % of Ers1 mutations then Pik3ca mutations. So this past thursday i received my first faslodex shots and xgeva shot. Ill go the 16th for a second shot (loading dose they call this) . Then only once a month for these shots . I took my first dose of Verzenio (150) this morning. An hour and a half later i started feeling nausous!! It lasted like 3 hrs. Then i felt ok. Hoping that is not going to happen after every pill. So now im asking for everyones input on tricks of the trade on taking Verzenio!!! All info is welcome. Thank you all in advance!🙂 Debbie

Thank you all
Taking a nausea medication helped me! Id take compazine about hour before the Verenzio. Any nausea medication hopefully will help you out. Ask your oncolgist for a prescription. Zofran works well too! Good luck stay strong and positive.
My mom started Verzenio in May. She doesn’t have any nausea but diarrhea kicked in in about 1 week. She takes her meds after breakfast and dinner and takes Imodium every morning. As soon as she started taking Imodium with her morning dose the diarrhea issue was almost resolved. She also takes probiotics at night. When she stopped probiotics diarrhea became worse so they definitely help her. No meds on empty stomach is important too. Good luck!
Just a word of Xgeva, it ruined 4 month for me last winter, by draining me of Calcium/Vitamin D. If you have not taken this before, please ask for a Calcium test, perhaps 2 weeks in. I only did mine after 4 weeks, and it was dangerously low (after having been normal at the start).
I went to ICU 3 times and ate up to 10 Calcium/Vitamin D tablets for many months. I started in October-22 and only finished the supplements early this October this year (down to 1 from 10 a day).
I don't know where you live, but they think it was a combination of Xgeva, fatigue from other drugs, not going outside and very dark grey Swedish weather without sunshine.
Best wishes,
Sissi
