hi I’m just after a bit of advice I had my right kidney removed 4 weeks ago it was removed robotically and took over 7 hours due to the size of a non cancerous tumour. I had 4 small incisions and one large one lower down which is quite big! My tummy is still very swollen and sore. Is this normal? I

Pain/flare up
Although I have probably had IBS symptoms for years and years it has escalated for the past 3 months into something more permanent and painful. Is it usual to have constant pain, or maybe its cramps or spasms, a lot of the time or during a flare up? Although I am on low dose amitriptyline, mebeverine

Gluten free diet
Hi all, hope you’re not suffering too much today. Just wanted to bring to your attention an article I was reading today about gluten, which you can find on google. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Non-celiac_gluten_sensitivity I’ve recently been trialing a gluten free diet, which has helped me considerably

V + O for R/R CLL post FCR
I sent this to skyshark based on some info he posted but I was hoping for the whole group to chime in. I had 3 rounds of FCR in 2018 stopped because of profound neutropenia. I relapsed exactly 2 years later and though I did not start Tx until the 5 year point in 2023, would have gladly started

First blood test after starting Peg 17/12/2023
Hi, Blood test from 28/12/2023 Platelets down to 427 (previous 580, 560, 504). Elevated Potassium 5.4 and ALT 96. I guess Peg has elevated ALT?? My next FU is March 14th. I’m really hoping I don’t have to increase Peg which is currently 45 weekly.

Hello everyone, I was diagnosed with stage 4 ovarian cancer a couple days before last Christmas so I am early in my journey and feeling very scared and discouraged. Mutations
I am on Orserdu (elacestrant) for a ESR1 mutation and feeling great but my CA27-29 tumor marker numbers continue to rise. Prior to this medication I was on Capecitabine for a PIC3 mutation and prior to that Piqray. Does any one know what meds work to target both mutations simultaneously?

new model for bone marrow behavior is a hope for finding bone metastasis remedies!
”What results were found from your investigation? It did mimic the effects that we see in the clinical scenario. It has been exciting. The other nice thing about this model is it doesn't have to only be utilized for bone sarcomas and creates the microenvironment from which a bone sarcoma might arise
