Has anyone here had the experience of taking meds for ADHD while trying to keep blood pressure under control?
Hi, I'm new here and recently diagnosed with ADHD (inattentive type). I'm almost 40 and never took any stimulants. I also suffer from anxiety and depression and have high blood pressure (which I think is related to my anxiety). I've been taking Sertraline for depression and Hydrochlorothiazide for hypertension

Very belated intro
I've had rls since I was in my teens. I'm now 66 years old. About 6-7 years ago, I was finally diagnosed with RLS, and given a medication that I can't recall the exact name of, but it was something like lebadopa carbadopa?? Anyway, that worked very well for me at first, but after a few months it would

SPIRONOLACTONE 25 MG TABLET
Can anyone please tell me if spironolactone interferes with RLS? If so, are there any other b/p meds that can be a good substitute? I'm already taking HCTZ and lisinopril.

Warning Signs Before My Cardiac Arrests
Hi -- after I posted the description of my 4 cardiac arrests, a couple people asked for more details, like what early symptoms or warnings I had. So here goes. In the year before my cardiac arrests in July of 2018 I was awoken 4 times with breathing difficulties. I simply couldn't catch my breath

Losartan and Ibersartan
Hi all Just a bit of an update. I am now taking Irbesartan which amazingly I have found ok ref side effects and no readings quite good. However when taking Losartan last year I developed bad headaches which I had for months. I had an accident and cut my head so wasn't sure if that was causing headaches

Losartan
Have been on Losartan 100mg for a long time and most mornings I seem to be often clearing my throat. I looked up on Google was this a symptom of the drug and read to my horror that Losartan had been recalled because of cancer scares! I haven't been told by the pharmacist of any such problem. I hope it

Blood Pressure meds and wet AMD
I have wet AMD in both eyes, and have been been receiving shots for same for many years - currently Eylea. I have recently seen a cardiologist who wants to put me on a BP med, Losartan. I am concerned that BP meds such as Losartan might worsen AMD. Any thoughts?

Low diastolic and higher systolic reading
I just wanted to ask a question if anyone has the same symptoms as me. I always have a low diastolic reading around low 70’s even though my systolic reading fluctuates from around 127 to 150. A nurse once told me that the diastolic was the most important? I am currently taking Losartan 25mg and wondered

Dry cough side effect of Losartan?
I have been at stage 4 for 18 years and as my consultant says ‘remarkably stable’. I have CKD and an acute kidney injury due to Perindopril not suiting me. I take Amlodipine and Atenolol. I was prescribed a low dose of Losartan earlier this year for newly diagnosed proteinuria. I’m wondering if my

Afib and flutter
I am in Permenant Afib and Aflutter now. I was told the year my husband died that I also had HF. Then three years later that I don’t? When my cardio takes a EKG he give me my normal HR which is about 71 the he also tells me my af heart rate. How can that be. I have had af since I was 58. Lone afib.

Torn between needing low bp for heart/afib but higher diastolic bp for glaucoma
In a tricky situation, I didn`t know whether to post heart group or glaucoma group or afib group Maybe I will paste it to the others. I have had high bp for years and Afib too. I had an ablation feb 2020 which worked for 4 years. It was set off again following the shingles jab in Mar this year and
