Advice? Anyone taking Herceptin Perjeta and Faslodex? And bye Ibrance
Hi everyone. My onc switched me off ibrance and Exemastane bc initial breast tumor is growing and has become resistant to these meds. I knew like all of us here that first line of treatment would end sometime (almost 4 years) but I’m really nervous about this new normal I’m entering into with 3 week

Princess of Wales
Many of you will have seen the Princess of Wales is having preventative chemotherapy for cancer. It must have been very difficult for her to speak about when still trying to digest the information herself. I rarely tell anyone I am suffering from a cancer, I usually say I have a bone marrow disease.

Hi everyone new here. I've just got my bloods back from gp and I have low white cell count (neutrophils) this leaves me open to infection as I'm sure your all aware that is a side effect of Roactemra. The consultant has now stopped my injection for 1 week and then repeat bloods in 4 weeks. My question

IBS or something more?
Hi, this is my first post on here, and I'm just wondering if anyone can calm my anxiety and mind...For the past 4 years, I've had what I can only call unusual symptoms...bloating, passing a lot of blood from my back passage (clots included and the amount I'd pass during a heavy period), a lot of mucus

Puffy fingers without Raynaud's?
I've committed the cardinal sin and entrusted Dr Google to diagnose me leading to feeling pretty distraught about the future, or lack of it... I've developed puffy fingers in the last few months, pretty much always brought on by activities - DIY, weeding in the garden. They don't tend to become puffy

I am the delivery man these days! Optimizing existing therapies!
The study explores a new method for cancer treatment combining light-activated therapy with a special drug that targets low-oxygen areas in tumors. This approach uses tiny tiny tiny capsules to deliver both the light-sensitive agent and the drug directly to the tumor, enhancing the treatment's effectiveness

Has anyone else found that their symptoms of IBS increase after taking mebervive. I was prescribed it, and when I have taken it my stomach flares up, I get major bloating and really sharp stomach pains? Has anyone else had this or is it just me?

IBS struggle
Hi. I've been struggling with IBS for a few years now. I am also allergic to dairy products. I try and have a healthy diet but it is very difficult. I eat low FODMAP dinners most days and have low FODMAP lunches when I'm at work. I take biomel powder in my banana and peanut butter smoothie twice a day

I now know I’m in the 10% worst category for genomic results. 20% chance of Mets in 10 years 25% chance of death in 15. Not happy. It’s out of my hands. They will ADT me then prostate bed and lymph node radiation. I guess I kinda always knew. I’m assuming someone has determined these steps are required

Test results. Can you advise please.
After great advice on this forum regarding my thyroid nodules, I requested from my GP surgery the same tests as are provided in the Blue Horizon Golden Thyroid Test. The clinician seemed to want to help and I thought almost everything would be tested. However, these are my results and, as is clear

High calprotectin
hi everyone, I’m going for a colonoscopy/endoscopy next week and I’m feeling really worried for the procedure and results. I’ve had coeliac disease for 10 years, but recently have been experiencing a lot of acid reflux and mucus in my stool. My calprotectin was 295, which I understand is quite high.
