Hi Ladies I was diagnosed with stage 2B ovarian cancer in April 2022. I had surgery and 6 rounds of Chemo. NED. On my final scan Jan. 2023. I’ve been doing really well. I’ve recently had an MRI scan for back pain after lifting a sofa. I’ve been for the results this morning and it shows degenerative

Could use encouragement - Depressed and Anxious, New Medication offered by Psychiatrist - It’s been a Hot Minute
I haven’t posted in a while, nor responded to people, but I could really use some encouragement. Sorry! I’m very depressed and anxious these days, SADD getting to me. My psychiatrist has offered a nasal spray 2x a week for 8 weeks that will work for up to five years to decrease depression. I’m waiting

Urologist recommendation at Johns Hopkins
Hello All, Many thanks for all the great advice and support on this great site. It encouraged me to be less stressed out and research more to understand this disease. My first biopsy indicated Gleeson 6 in one core out of 12. The second opinion at Johns Hopkins was not conclusive with the following

Follow up Sigmoidoscopy after colonscopy
So, earlier this week I had my 4 month follow up appointment after a 30mm polyp was found in my sigmoid colon back in July. There was no regrowth of the polyp however a new polyp (3mm) was removed and a diagnosis of diverticulosus. Was not what i was expecting but hopefully the histology report will

Can you have too much vitamin B12?
My blood levels of vitamin B12 are sky high after I took the injections for almost a year. I don't feel bad or anything just when I did the test at the private lab I was surprised with my result. I stopped with injections but would like to know can too much vitamin B12 cause any health problems? Thanks

Good Morning Monday People
Good morning all, I haven't posted in a while since getting my ESA and starting EMDR. I've experienced a lot of improvement and have adjusted well to the Citalopram which leaves me feeling more alive than the Sertraline I was on. I've been feeling contemplative lately about motivation. What are some

Borderline TSH during cancer treatment
Hi folks! Haven't been on here for some time but in the interim I have been treated for Chronic Myeloid Leukaemia. Had chemo in September last year which was successful (minus a few hiccups like fungal pneumonia that put me in ICU!) and currently on home oral chemo, antifungals and antibiotics daily

New to Peginterferon - Any suggestions to help with bowel cramps?
I have only had 2 injections so far and experiencing frequent bowel cramps. I was kinda, expecting this as I do have some bouts of IBS following associated problems from stage 4 endometriosis. This was found and treated 10 years ago, after many years of suffering. As a result, I experience IBS and,

Suspected Bechets - affecting me mentally & physically
Hello, So sorry for the long post! So my doctor believes I have Bechets and I am currently undergoing tests/waiting for results. a Tale of Two Friends
Last weekend I ran into an old friend. He told me he had prostate cancer. I asked his Gleason score and he didn’t know. I told him I was starting Cyberknife on Tuesday. He told me he was having surgery the same day. I asked why he was opting for surgery and he told me that it was best to be rid of
