Hi allJust wondering if I can take essential oils to help with my mood and menopause whilst taking interferon for PV. Anyone any experience of this and whether certain oils interact with interferon?

Many thanks

Main problem is that if the essential oils are biologically active in reducing menopause symptoms then they can interact with other meds including interferon. Unlikely to be any research data on this to help you make sn evidence based decision.

Thanks for your reply. I have had a bit of a research session on google etc but nothing much evidence based on there. I am seeing my consultant next week so will have a word with him. Many thanks and I will keep you posted.
