Hi Ladies I was diagnosed with stage 2B ovarian cancer in April 2022. I had surgery and 6 rounds of Chemo. NED. On my final scan Jan. 2023.
I’ve been doing really well. I’ve recently had an MRI scan for back pain after lifting a sofa. I’ve been for the results this morning and it shows degenerative changes to my spine. But had picked up a small enlarged lymph node in my pelvis. My team do not think it is significant , but are going to repeat a CT scan in a month.
Has anybody else had this experience ?

Hi! I had the flu and had enlarged lymph nodes in my pelvis last year and the doctor said nothing to worry about CA 125 was good. You can ask to have yours checked along with the MRI
I had 2 enlarged lymph nodes show up on a CT scan my oncologist ordered a petscan which confirmed a very tiny recurrence not saying that’s your case but it may be something to pursue hoping that’s not the case.
Hi Hota I was Stage 4 Dec 13 also had Chemo/surgery then NED until 2019 when had recurrence in lymph node in pelvis.Originally my Oncologist said ct scan looked ok but was waiting for results from radiology thankfully the radiologist spotted the lymph node
Hi. 6 months after pacli/carboplat treatment my OC recurred only in my pelvic lymph nodes. It is unusual so we biopsied and confirmed. Peritoneum is negative but lymph nodes contain O C. Harder to destroy as growing v slowly in the last 6 months.
