Decreased WBC's
My husband started Imbruvica 5weeks ago , along with Allopurinol and an Infusion once a month of IVIG. The concern I have is that when he started his WBC's were 265, they are now down to 65, which is great , has anyone else had this experience, to be honest I didn't think it would go down that quickly

Apparently it smells of lavender. Does anyone know whether cosmetics of this type, which are absorbed into

Hello, My Father was just diagnosed with stage 2 unmutated CLL. He has enlarged nodes on his neck, his spleen is enlarged, and his WBC has gone from 42,000 to 72,000 in less than a month and 91% are lymphocytes so they are rushing to start Ibrutinib. He asked his Dr. about protecting his kidneys and

Any Parkies suffering with Gout?
Mayo Clinic is investigating Inosine as a possible therapy to slow the progression of PD. Inosine raises uric acid levels, this is associated with Gout and the side effect is kidney stones :-( . I am taking 45mg daily for Gout. It reduces the pain and swelling but has to be taken at breakfast. By 02:00 the following morning I am in agony again. Is this the max dose? Can I split the dose to extend coverage?

What's your strangest symptom (s)?
I've had problems for over 10yrs with no diagnosis of fibro but can't think what else it could be. I'm sure we can come up with a list of typical symptoms easily but what are the strange ones you all get? Mine (which come & go) are .......burning lips & tongue, circular head pain (like someone has welded

Ablation update 3 days later
Hi guys Well it's been 3 days since my ablation and I've only just found out that my procedure was only partially done, The right hand side was cut easily but the left hand side wouldn't take so they had to burn around the veins in a pearl necklace way,or spot welded which makes more sense to me,with

St John's Wort (SJW)
An intriguing post about St John's Wort (SJW), etc. The potencies for the uptake inhibition of NA, DA and 5-HT were 30, 7 and 1, respectively. The results indicate that the SJW Ze 117 extract interferes in three ways with the individual uptakes of the relevant neurotransmitters
