Insomnia and Sinemet
I have posted before about night time meds. I have taken Sinemet plus and entecapone 4 times a day, rasagaline, 24mg ropinirole (split into three doses). Have been taking sinemet cr at 11pm for a while as I felt that I needed some PD meds during the night. However it never seems to do anything. I

ONJ treatment
I am interested in the experiences of those with ONJ—osteonecrosis of the jaw. This was caused by a dental extraction despite following the protocol of discontinuing Xegeva. My husband has stage 4 prostrate cancer diagnosed in December 2014. There is not a lot of information and most dentists do not

Hi there, I have had Rheumatoid arthritis for many years, and like others have been on different medication, currently I am on Benepali injections, which take the edge off but they don't last for very long, I have been looking/researching for other pain relief which might help and have discovered Biofreeze

Sinemet, slow or delayed response to this med anyone?
Hi, I know many people get a very quick positive response to this med but I wondered if anyone's beneficial response has taken a while? (Weeks/months ) I've been taking 25/100 sinemet plus x3 daily for a couple of weeks now with no positive or negative signs, save for perhaps increased joint pain.

daughter with what may be PD early symptoms
The following is written by daughter Nellie. I have been having sporadic muscle spasms in my legs or arms. Sometimes it happens everyday, I can also go a couple days without any. I have been diagnosed as celiac and just recently with a milk allergy. I'm open to any suggestions. Should I ignore these

Hi, has anyone had foot surgery due to RA, next year they are going to fuse the big toe rigid, then shorten a couple of toes and put rods in, was wondering if anyone has had similar and what the recovery was like?

Living large in the hood!
This month I celebrate 15 years alive after diagnosis. It’s been a tough, painful and, sometimes, downright Fricking awful journey. But I’m still here and enjoying life as much as possible these days. Right now I’m just finishing coffee and breakfast and then me and the boys (Gabe and Finn) are off to

A PEACEFUL AND HAPPY CHRISTMAS TO EVERYONE
I regularly read all the posts but don't very often reply. I am writing to wish everyone a very peaceful AF free Christmas. I was discharged from outpatient cardiology a few months ago as my symptoms are in control. I know that my AF will always be with me and rear its head when its ready. The recent

Happy Christmas and... a plea for help regarding gout or something like it?!
Dear All, First a Happy Christmas to everyone. Thank you for your help over the last few months that I have been visiting this forum. I don't always comment or post much, but I do quietly read from time to time, and your experiences and advice to one another has been most enlightening and supportive

Combination of δ-Tocotrienol and γ-Tocopherol on PCa.
New cell study. Almost all vitamin E PCa studies are rubbish, unfortunately. Vitamin E consists of 8 compounds - 4 tocopherols & 4 tocotrienols - alpha, beta, gamma & delta. They are never found together in nature. There is no such thing as "balanced" vitamin E, with a little bit of everything, & such

I bought a bottle of Zhou

Goat
Weed
(some name) from Amazon. Took some first time two days ago and within 4-5 hours I am feeling something changing down below. Bottom line, it works and have had sex twice since then with no trouble in ER department.

A bit of a light-hearted post
The thread on pain after ablation reminded me. You might find this funny. I did, in spite of the experience. Before my ablation I was entered into a trial for Dofetilide. After some days and with it not converting me on its own, I was scheduled for a cardioversion. They took me down to theatre (in

Gout?
Has anyone here suffered, or does suffer, with gout? I only ask because apparently it's what I have. Yes I was Surprised too, by the way, I NOW know that it IS a, well known (so I'm told) 'Side Effect' of Kidney Problems. My, VERY knowledgeable, Consultant Dr Andi-a man that I, very honestly, nominated

6th monthly blood test
Hi all fellow ET followers I have just received my blood results. I was very happy to see my platelets have come down slightly to 620 from 667, only small but better than up. Also my muscle enzymes LDH has also decreased! considering this test has been trending up since diagnosis 2 years ago. still pretty
