Scared and lonely
Had an MRI back in November and all was clear so trying to tell myself it’s not a tumour and maybe I’m just suffering neurological symptoms but they get worse also I was reading about
histamine
intolerance
in food really interesting and may talk to my doc about this also Has anyone heard of this ?

Autism and the link with undermethylation.
I have been researching the connection between
histamine
intolerance
and Fibromyalgia, but also Aspergers which my son has. It has been confirmed by a select number of practioners that their is a genetic link with mental illness.

Puff pastry is not good for people with histamine intolerance
Important note for people with Histamine intolernce. Be cautious with pastes! The puff pastry can cause problems in your gut. We noticed the issues since many years at different Producers. A possible reason are the drawing greases which are added in the dough.

Histamine Intolerance Migraine and Anxiety
So for the past ten years, and thinking back probably since childhood, I have suffered migraines. These got a lot worse around ten years ago feeling spaced out, off balance, irritable, fatigue, flaky skin on scalp/ears and just generally not feeling like myself. Have been to numerology, ENT and GP.

Help interpreting my Medichecks results
A few years ago, I was diagnosed with
Histamine
Intolerance
by an allergist due to terrible symptoms after eating/ drinking anything. I regularly take antihistamines and H2 blockers to counter some the effects of this but at the moment I cant get stable.

Stuck on 8mg
My symptoms when reducing are increased
histamine
intolerance
/ chemical sensitivity. Functional doc thinks that I may have DOA deficiency (the enzyme that degrades histamine) and so the histamine just builds up. This can happen when you gut integrity is compromised.

Using internet forums safely
I have MTHFR mutations, and have done the rounds of candida, SIBO, nutritional deficiencies, I have mast cell overactivation disorder,
histamine
intolerance
and hormone imbalances etc etc etc etc. I self treat now, with the blessing of my endo (long story) and my antibodies are zero.

Update - weird 'allergic' reactions
Turns out that I may have
histamine
intolerance
. I am going to see a Functional doctor in Sept. She said she has another patient PMR also around 7mg Pred - developed
histamine
intolerance
. I went back to up to 10mg - then went down to 8 and stayed there for about 2 months.

Beware of Potential Food Intolerances
It now appears this is not due to an exocrine malfunction but a symptom of
Histamine
intolerance
! I have avoided the precise history here as it has taken many tests and MRI's to reach this conclusion.

Probiotics
One reply did interest me when someone said that since taking them she found she was reacting to food she could normally eat (think she also had
histamine
intolerance
). I found this interesting because foods I could eat previously - two examples that spring to mind are yoghurt and eggs.

Our background: my wife suffers from
histamine
intolerance
(HIT), sometimes she eats a little bit of meat. I`m a vegetarian since a long time and have a high blood pressure. We like the mediterranean cuisine, therefor I do a large garden with vegetable and fruits.

Post - Laparoscopy & Diagnosis / Diet
As theres no
intolerance
present, these won't be creating
histamine
in my body and are unlikely to have an effect on my symptoms. Thought that was really interesting and may also be useful to others interested in endo diet or intolerance testing.

Histamine Intolerance Genetic Test Results
I have
Histamine
Intolerance
and recently I did a genetic test to see if it’s primary or secondary. Test came back positive on all 4 genes they tested, but I don’t really understand the results. Can anyone help? Or am I totally in the wrong community with this post? Thanks!

Holland and Barrett Probiotic
Not sure whether it's this but I've been getting really bad stomach pains (last night awake for 3 hours) dry eyes, headaches - sure I've had this before without these symptoms but I am thinking as a
histamine
intolerance
sufferer - these are some of the signs that something I am having needs to be stopped
