Histamine intolerance

Does anyone have any experience of Histamine Allergy & SIBO alongside established PA? Are they linked? Currently on weekly B12 SI. All symptoms of PA are under control. Now addressing Histamine allergy & supplements for SIBO. My diet is extremely restrictive now to reduce histamine - brain is frazzled

I definitely have a histamine intolerance as it has reared its ugly head before. I think this may be the cause of my recent symptoms and I think the Covid and flu vaccines triggered a reaction. Especially as I had the over 65s flu jab this time, which is stronger.

My main symptoms besides period related are histamine intolerance or overload (hives after eating, had to make major dietary changes), constant exhaustion, and hair loss.

Seems ok, fingers crossed, but I also have histamine intolerance amd the absence of Hydroxicarbamide seems to be allowing my mast cells to have a high old time churning out histamine. Has anyone else experienced this? Louise

But after about 3 months I started to get strong histamine intolerance in response to increased oestradiol. I persevered until October when I had to stop as histamine reactions were extreme - constant post nasal drip, cough, retching and unable to keep food down.

I also did a test which showed I have very low diamine oxidase in my gut so have histamine intolerance. My question is regarding my medication. I currently take 100mg sertraline, two blood pressure pills and a statin. Are these not getting into my system either?

The jittery feeling I used to blame thyroid, now I'm thinking it's histamine intolerance. Just wondered does anyone think my thyroid numbers are coming in high? maybe I should snip a bit off as stepping into hyperthyroid will exacerbate his symptoms.

I have developed a histamine intolerance too. After googling it seems there are multiple things you could be allergic too in regular toothpaste and some of the alternatives I've found seem to contain one or two of them, but I don't know which my mouth is reacting to.

I believe my immune and nervous system were majorly triggered because of HISTAMINE. After reading into the effects of high histamine & histamine intolerance I've been led to conclude that I may have a histamine problem.

I have learned through my own trial and era that I have an intolerance to foods high in histamine and foods containing gluten. My question is can chemical intolerance go hand in hand with histamine intolerance or Mast Cell Disease?

Another immunologist suggested to repeat the skin testing for nuts again (using the droplets not raw nuts but droplets) and told this time I did not have a nut allergy but histamine intolerance but did have a mushroom allergy.

I was thinking it can be cancer or IBS with hemorroids or IBD with some histamine intolerance, diverticuli... I contacted my primary care doctor and she send me to gastroenterologist. I will have gastroscopy and USG of abdomen in two weeks.

Does zinc lower histamine? Zinc has shown to play an important role in histamine intolerance, as it impacts how your body stores histamine. Zinc deficiency has shown to allow a higher release of histamine.
