Blood pressure (back of eyes test) kidney related issues
Have anyone ever had a test done to check the back of the eyes to check vessels due to high blood pressure? If so please can you tell me of your own experience. thank you. As long term high blood pressure can do damage to kidneys, my neph said that to see how the blood pressure is doing overall - by

Help
does throwing up before a fasting blood test alter the result? I ask this because this happened to me and the results came back saying I had high cholesterol. My doctor thought had me redo the test today but before the phlebotomist started she opened up my last results and it showed my cholesterol levels

Simvastatin Hell
Hi, In February 2011 I had a heart attack and was prescribed 40mg of Simvastatin. Within weeks I began to have pain in my arm muscles. I started researching, read of the many people suffering side effects, went to see my doctor and stopped them. She did not, oddly enough, try to persuade me against

How to use the finger pricker properly!
Tomorrow I'm going to do a finger pricker test kit for B12, folate and ferritin (and have another for D3 as well if I can get enough blood!). Anyway last time I tried this I had a lot of problems using the Blue Horizon finger prickers that have blue bottoms and white tops. Maybe I just panicked (certainly

How do you cope with work/family?
I was diagnosed with Vasovagal Syncope almost 6 years ago, when I was pregnant. The doctors didn't want to give me any medication as they weren't sure how it would affect my baby, so I spent my entire pregnancy in bed as everytime I stood up I fainted. It seemed to dissapear for nearly three years and

Foods/Supplements-Vitamins: Low-Carbohydrate Diets
