I may need blepharoplast (eyelid surgery). I was diagnosed in March with PAF, & (knock wood) haven't had an event since. I taking apixopan & verapamil. My EP thinks it will be safe for me to stop the abixipan two days before the surgery & take it up again when the ocular plastic physician says it ok, probably 24 - 48 hours. It is an hour-long outpatient surgery. Anyone have experience with this surgery. It's a simple surgery, but lots of blood vessels.

Let me know how it goes. I'm a little nervous, & I'm not sure what to expect. I'm waiting to see if my insurance will cover the surgery
Well procedure went well
Surgeon said bleeding was average and he was pleasantly surprised
Slight blood stain on pillow this morning swollen eyes but all in all better than a dental visit
Just relax and go with the flow
Good luck
At this moment bruising starting to really blossom
Thanks so much for your responses. Keep me informed regarding your progress. Which anticoagulent are you taking? You may have told me, but I don't remember.
