Is anyone taking Losartan Potassium 100mg (50mg twice daily) for high blood pressure who also has CKD3

I ask because I am someone who has very high blood pressure and is intolerant of many BP drugs, with some of them worsening my kidney function. I have recently halved my dose of Doxazosin due to severe oedema and the latest advice by my renal consultant is to double the dose of Losartan Potassium from 50mg to 100mg daily, splitting the dose 5mg am and 50mg pm. I am concerned about doubling the dose of Losartan, knowing that it can increase Creatinine levels which, in turn, will result in a lower eGFR - 39 at present but continuing on a downward spiral. I look forward to hearing from anyone who might be in a similar boat.
