Cured for diabetes

Is it true there is no cure for diabetes. I questioned research done by scientists for a very long time. How come they have never found a cure for diabetes. I have been on metformin for the past 5 years. My gp has told me that I have to be on it for life. Tell me that there is a cure out there for diabetes and hypertension..

Diabetes is not a disease and hence it can not be cured. It is only a malfunction of your pancreas .But good thing is it can be controlled largely by diet and exercise with the help of medication. If you can manage blood sugar properly look at the bright side of life. You become more health conscious ,more alert by regular exercise and getting less chance of cardio vascular problems. These days tecknology say like Google and Internet helps you more than your doctor.
