Intravenous Iron, oxidative stress and vitamin E and selenium
I have been reading about the possibility that some people may experience oxidative stress with intravenous iron therapy. I thought this article was interesting as it states that vitamin E and selenium are powerful antioxidants that can somewhat mitigate this problem. I would not suggest synthetic

Autoimmune hepatitis (AIH)
[/i] This is an autoimmune disease where the attack is on the hepatocytes (cells of the liver) rather than the biliary cells (bile ducts). It presents very differently and is treated very differently as well. When both diseases are present this is called 'AIH overlap

Kinds of CBD?
I ordered CBD from a doctor who advertises on TV. Possibly Dr Oz but not sure. What came in the mail was CBD gummies and CBD oil. The gummies have 10mg CBD per chewie while the oil has 300mg per ml. I know oils tend to go stale if left on the shelf too long. For olive oil I add one Vitamin E

anyone know how long chemo & radiation & effects remain in your body? Thx in advance.
I’m a year past these treatments. My oncologist said during treatment to stay off of vitamin E & C. Just wondering.

bite and echonocytes at 1+
ET JAK2+ for 18 months. Had sensitive liver reaction to all 3 primary drug treatments, recent one since March is peginterferon at 67 units per week. Liver enzymes started creeping up again (coincidently?) since getting flu and Covid shots two weeks apart in September. Also started taking 175 mg daily

Liver disease, mast cells and antihistamine
I’ve just seen a post on X about mast cells and Covid-19 which mentioned a link with autoimmune diseases of the gut and the use of antihistamines as a treatment.. I wondered if anything was known about autoimmune liver diseases, mast cells and antihistamines. I found this 2017 research paper https://

Stage 4 fibrosis of the Liver
I contracted Hepatitis A in 2020, undiagnosed for 2 months. Six months later I was told I had NALD and last year I was sent for ultrasound scans and blood tests to check for cancer. In March this year, I was told I had Stage 4 Fibrosis of the liver. Does anyone know if this can be reversed, any treatments

Tess tong for Autoimmune Hepatitis
So glad I found this site! I’ve had no symptoms, went to gastroenterologist for a review of an ultrasound of my liver. I’m 53, ultrasound was normal. My liver enzymes have always been in range,. I had the smooth body blood test come back abnormal. Does this confirm AIL? I gave osteopenia (bone loss)

HEP B TREATMENTS
Hi, I saw my doctor today. I have had HEP B for many years. My doctor was only monitoring it. Today he told me that he is very concerned about my ALT levels. Imuran Side Effects
Taking Imuran for about 5 weeks, started been experiencing many of the initial symptoms I felt before diagnosis at about 2 weeks. At first thought treatment not working, but labs still heading towards normal range. Still titrating down on prednisone . Skipped Imuran a couple days and the nausea, fever
