Subclinical Hypo but symptoms have returned - advice please
Hi, I’m just looking for advice on how to approach the GP (it’s a teaching practice so Drs are never the same). There is a family history of thyroid problems (hypothyroidism with an immediate blood relative) and numerous other autoimmune diseases. I started experiencing non-specific symptoms (

Advice/assistance regarding starting T3.
Most recent results, Monitor my health 24/7/2023 TSH 0.3 (0.27-4.2) FT4 20 (12-22) FT3 4.2 (3.1-6.8) Vit D 117 - their ranges are just lines on a graph but it’s in the excess category. VitB12/folate/ferritin- I have a replacement kit (which I forgot to do this morning) due to blood clotting so they

What’s at the root of this awful anxiety?
I am experiencing intense anxiety, alongside insomnia. Last year, after a few months on T3, I eventually felt really well: best I’d felt for many years. Earlier this year the T3 was changed from Morningside tablets to Roma capsules. Slowly I went downhill. After a couple of months I had the T3 tablets

I got mine done last week and my results are just in and I am pleased that all looks okay. I have been supplementing

3 grains of Armour Thyroid - a very high dose?
Hi everyone, I posted recently as I was a bit confused by my results - suppressed TSH but both T3 and T4 at bottom of range. Since then my endocrinologist has increased my dose from 2.5 grains to 3 grains, but said he won't be able to increase any further as this is a high dose for my size and weight

I am very rude, found my posts and upon checking haven't responded to peeps Pennyannie and SeasideSusie
so found a post about 8 months old, as always lots of good advice pointers but then for some reason I never responded. I will try to rectify this Pennyannie asked if I got round to buying T3, worked out my conversion rate as 5.53 / 5.69 . Asked why I had Thyroidectomy , never given a definitive

Help please for my Durham friend.
I have had such good advice from this forum I am hoping you can help me to help my friend. She is in her late seventies and is currently laid very low with a recurrence of her ME. She has had episodes of ME in the past and episodes of anxiety and depression. When young she suffered from thyrotoxicosis

Follow up test
After some great advice on here I went ahead and did the Blue Horizon gold thyroid test. I am a 46 year old woman and have every symptom of hypothyroidism. I understand the test shows that my antibodies are ok but I do not know anything about T3 and T4 levels...do mine look ok? The test was done at

Indapamide with levothyroxine?
I have been prescribed Indapamide for high blood pressure. I also have Ramipril which I take in the evening. The Indapamide pack says to take in the morning. Can I take it with my thyroxine? I couldn’t see any contraindications for it but is it going to impede the thyroxine? ShouldI take it at night

Low Blood Pressure.
i have very different problems concerning my A-Fib compared to most of you. So will go in to a bit of history of my latest health fiasco. I am 77 and have had low blood pressure a long as I can remember. I developed A-Fib about 7 years ago. Therefore I can’t take the Beta blockers because they

Any thoughts on my friend's thyroid results, please?
Hello all, I was wondering if any more knowledgeable folks had any ideas about what could be going on with my friend's thyroid results? They seem crazy - I don't understand how she can have a reasonably "normal" TSH level with such unbelievably low FT4 and FT3. She's a 41 year-old female, does not

help with results - Hashimotos?
Can someone help me interpret these results please? The anti-thyroidperoxidase is so high. Does this mean I have hashimotos? Ferritin and Vitamin D are on the low side. What level of supplements do people suggest? Mid 50s female. Currently on 125mcg levothyroxine. Slightly overweight but not massive

Hashimoto's?
I was diagnosed with autoimmune thyroiditis and adrenal insufficiency in 2008 by Dr Peatfield. I was on HC for while as NAX did not work for me. I changed my diet around and then weaned myself off HC. It feels like the symptoms are returning and I have had a full Thyroid panel done by Medichecks. Everything
