repeat fractures
A year and a half ago I broke my left wrist when I fell while playing tennis. This was a severe break and required surgery. Two weeks later I was in a car accident and broke my right hand. I was being treated at Mayo for both injuries and I asked my orthopedic surgeon if I had osteoporosis. She said

Advice please? Low mood
Hi there, I'm back again, my latest results but doc didn't seem to test t3 for some reason. My T4 and Tsh seems to be back in range but just regarding my vitamins levels, I've screen shot below if you could have a look, Doctor said my B12 is ok and report never highlighted it as being an issue, not sure

Maybe a sheep dip or biohazard fumigation chambers would do the trick 😂
Well, saw my GP again today as absolutely no better, certain symptoms leaning towards either new infection or the original not totally responding to the last antibiotics so getting a different one. Lungs now have air entry but crackling at the bases no results in the X-ray as yet. Heart seems to be behaving

January Challenge - Walk in the Cold
Happy new year, everyone! Here we go! The first of our monthly themed challenges that hopefully will motivate us to get out there and explore something about walking on a walk! The first chapter of the book “52 ways to walk” by Annabel Street covers all sorts of things when walking in the cold.

The joy of the unclear diagnosis 😂
This is a verrrry long post!! If anyone actually reads to the end you have my full respect I’m a returning member to the forum. I used to be active when I was being treated for severe asthma. I used to routinely end up in hospital for basic chest infections, and struggled with chest aching and tightness

Optimum vitamin levels
After months of prevaricating by my GP I decided to see an Endo privately. I won't to go into the history, but suffice it to say that his letter to my GP contained a thinly veiled rebuke in relation to the handling of my situation since I was diagnosed with TED by a consultant ophthalmologist in 2009

Full removal of thyroid and parathyroid anxiety levels very high
hello, I hope someone can help. in August 2022, I had my total thyroid and total parathyroid removed, they were both so enlarged that they were suffocating me, this was only discovered when the operation was performed, though I had been suffering serious breathing problems for the preceding year and
