Testing my thyroid after stopping levothyroxine
Hi I was put on levothyroxine back in March when my test results were considered borderline. I had to have surgery in April to remove a cyst on my pituitary gland which thankfully seems to have been successful (though I have what is considered to be mild diabetes insipidus which preceded the surgery

Flu vaccine side effects
hi all - being asthmatic in the UK I’ve had my flu jab for many years now. Sometimes I feel ropey for 24/48hrs after and sometimes not. Just wondering if anyone else has been hit quite hard by this years? It’s clearly better than getting flu but it’s been pretty bad. The first 24hrs I felt quite unwell

GREAT video on PMB! If you are thinking about buying any photobiomodulation red light therapy device... this is a MUST WATCH
Don't throw away your money on the cheap, junk 'red light toys' (about $300 or so) that promise a lot... but are totally worthless. Watch these two neuro scientists explain why: https://youtu.be/iZbP2IVekh0 Now watch this one and get the best info I've seen yet in one short video on the power of

Today (1/10) I've had both my autumn covid jab & my flu jab -so glad to get that part over On 5/10 I've got another Gas test (in my earlobe -I think the idea of that is to see how much oxygen & carbon dioxide is in my blood - with a view to telling me whether i need oxygen longterm It concerns

Call for a more complete vitamins blood testing, especially b6.
I would have preferred to write about my coping with PD at a later stage, but in view of recent events I would like to warn you about the possible consequences of incomplete examination. After being diagnosed 1.5 years ago at 65, I found the development of the disease to be (too) fast. There is still

Snooze and I lost … but only once
So yesterday my plan was 5k before work but my bed was sooo warm and cosy, I hit snooze one too many times and didn’t leave any time to get out. Spent the rest of the day being more than a tad annoyed with myself but nobody to blame but me ! Today quite determined to get out so no snoozing for me. I

Flu jab/methotrexate
Can anyone remember. Do we stop using methotrexate and other immune suppressing drugs for a fortnight after receiving the flu jab, as we did with the Covid jab. I'm due my Flu jab next week. Thanks you.

Hi I live in Northern Ireland I was wondering what everyone’s status is with regard to covid boosters. I have had my 2 primary vaccines and 1 booster last November, my GP hasn’t called me for further boosters, and I have been told I’m not on the vulnerable category list, although I was during lock

Hi everyone re boosters
Hello all, I am trying to cope with side effects of another different COVID injection. Are they supposed to make you feel ill as if you have COVID? The flu injections don't do this. I've only once felt ill after a flu vaccine and that was the year of the bird flu, my arm always aches for some time,

flu vaccine
Hi I’m due to have my flu vaccine soon and I’m concerned regarding blood clots as I have Hashimotos ie an autoimmune condition which raises the risk. Would appreciate your views please. ☺️

Autumn Covid Booster
Got an NHS text this week, inviting me to book my autumn Covid booster. Went online and got a next day booking at a local pharmacy, who offered me a flu jab at the same time as the new Moderna bivalent vaccine that protects against Omicron as well as the earlier variants. All very efficient so hopefully
