So after 4 years A F free, the mongrel has returned. I am so upset 😡 😫 😪 and contacted my HF Nurse who has cut down my spironolactone to every other day as i have also been getting light headed and woozy. She has also reduced my Bumetanide from 4 to 3 daily. My Consultant has stopped my Bisoprolol

Magnesium question
Hi all I've been taking the BetterYou D3000+k2 spray since 9th September. I've stopped taking a multivitamin and intend to replace the iron, B vitamins etc on an individual basis over the next months. Originally I wasn't going to replace magnesium as a matter of course but my latest magnesium blood

flu jab
Had my flu jab last Wednesday. Since then been in bed with flu symptoms aching legs headaches and congested chest.. The doctor says can’t be the flu jab but seems a bit of a coincidence. Just wondered if having GCA now down to 10mg would have any effect on the injection .

Who gets Shingles.
I am assuming that anyone who has not had chicken pox should get the shingles vaccine with its painful side effects. I read in several places on google : What causes shingles? Shingles is caused when the chickenpox virus is reactivated. After a person has had chickenpox, the virus lies dormant in certain

Covid and flu vaccine 💪🏼
Hi Peeps 🙂 I had my 6th Covid (Spikevax) vaccination Saturday 1st October, along with my flu vaccine at my local surgery. I was lucky enough to have them done by my own GP! Consequently, I could ask her, directly, about whether to administer my Methotrexate vaccine (due on on the following Wednesday

good afternoon everyone. Advice please. I had my B12 injection at 4pm with the nice nurse. She said would you like your flu jab to save you coming back. I said ok. Couple of hours later and I feel dreadful, hot, sick, headache, nausea. Has this happened to any of you please and how long does it last

Flu Jab type for ET aged 63
I’ve just received my new Flu jab. 👍 I was told I have to have the one for people under 65, (I’m 63). However, the flu jab for over 65 has additional boosters, because of declining immune responses in the over 65s. Because of my ET, I also have a reduced immune response…yet although the pharmacist

Adrenals and flu jab
Just had an odd reaction to my flu jab. Like many of us here, I decided to get separate jabs rather than the two-together that most centres are giving in the UK. I felt alright for about two hours then a huge fatigue swept over me, legs weak, neck stiff, slightly light-headed. Thought it might be low

What pox do you choose?
I choose the monkeypox, with which we will get to know very briefly for general culture. I ask people who don't like to read about diseases to refrain or read at their own risk. The idea is only one - knowledge is power! Monkeypox and blood cancer - read more here: https://bloodcancer.org.uk/news

Over 65 Flu vaccine
I have just reached 65 and so my flu vaccine was the first one I've had in that category. For the first time I have had some side effects which started 24 hours after the vaccine. It started with my arm becoming painful and then headache, back ache and then nausea and stomach pain and diarrhoea. So
