Had my flu jab last Saturday. I was down to 2 mg steroids and just a bit of fatigue. Over last 2 days pain in upper arms shoulders and thighs . Have upped Pred to 5 mg which helps. Has anyone else had a reaction or is it a flare. 🌺🌺

The jab could well have poked the immune system and woken it up. Try some paracetamol as well, it may help the aches if it is a jab reaction.

Had flu jab last Monday and have had painful arm (R) and had fluey headaches and body aches. Felt very weary and achey on Thursday so stayed in bed and rested a bit. I think also I dropped 2.5 mgm of Pred that day due to Rheumatologist guidelines but felt ok yesterday and today - the drop didn’t help…. but that was so Thursday… hope you’re feeling better soon. x

I think it was a flu jab that first tipped me over into PMR, and I have had a bad few days after subsequent jabs & covid jabs esp the Moderna for some reason - they make me feel wobbly and I get pmr flare in my shoulders.
