covid vaccine
My Hematologist suggested I not take the flu or covid vaccine. She is concerned it will trigger another episode of low platelets. I had been in remission for 15 months last year and I thought I had beaten ITP. I got the vaccines last year then about 2 months later my platelets were back down to 1.

IVIG - how soon does it benefit?
My husband - CLL, on Calquence since April 2021 - has begun a schedule of monthly IVIG, mainly because he had 2 life threatening infections late spring/early summer (staph that went rogue, followed by c. Diff thanks to months of antibiotics). His ID doc has said that the IG may likely have Covid antibodies

I tried every cream and then had the circumcision but still no better 3 months ago I set on a course to reverse diabetes, I cut out sugar on nearly everything I could just to avoid going onto injections

Cardio performance abrupt decline
Currently on Orgovyx for the last 18 months with very little side effects due to wrestling, lifting weights and hiking. Then suddenly four days ago, only a block from the beginning of my daily 2.5 mile hike my energy unexpectedly ran out. I pushed forward another block assuming I could shake off whatever

Scar Tissue After ZSR Staple Circumcision
Hi. Hoping for some advice. My mid twenties son had the ZSR circumcision over 6 months ago. He had suffered with tight foreskin, and was advised this would fix the problem. Unfortunately the procedure went slightly wrong and the Dr had to remove a small portion of the skin with a scalpel. Long story

Getting IVIG prophylactically?

First IVIG infusion
I've learned so very much here in this group, from so many here, Thank you all. Although I post very little and do read and am concerned for everyone. I want to ask what are some of your experiences with getting IVIG ? Side effects ? Reactions ? I've been told very little by Dr and PA. Dr did say

Mylo Fibrosis, et al
Hello. I'm new to this community and frankly new to social networking on health. My abbreviated story is that I transitioned to Mylo Fibrosis (MF) a few years ago, after dealing with Polycythemia Vera (PV) for 25+ years (I'm 66 years old). The PV regimen was inclusive of Phlebotomies, meds such as Agrilyn

I have left scrotal pain for long time. Started in 1994. Intermittent pain gets worse with running. US scan showed mild varicocele. It is not causing any problem with my fertility or performance. I am facing erectile dysfunction and need serious help about the cure/treatment.

CAR-T Trial Update #3
Hello friends, I had planned on updating everyone much sooner, but life got in the way a bit. Last I wrote, I had received my T-cells back on June 5, 2023. The first few days were totally uneventful. I was walking the halls a lot, staying active, reading, and getting dressed in regular clothing every
