Would you go for Intralipid or IVIg?
Hi lovely people, I have elevated NK cell level (29.7) and my consultant recommends immunotherapy either with Intralipids (would bring my NK level to 18-21) or IVIg (bring level to 14.9) he said steroids were not being offered during the pandemic. I want the best chances for my next transfer which means

IVIG
Dr said there is a still a cancer risk with kesimpta as it is essentially the same thing as ocrevas. She suggested IVIG. Does anyone have any experience with it?

Where to get IVIG drip
Hi Can someone please recommend where I can get IVIG admistered in the UK or abroad at a reasonable price. The fertility clinic I'm with at the moment are charging £2000 for this! I would greatly appreciate any advice and suggestions. Thank you in advance.

Gluten free apple tart
Hi everyone, I made this apple tart with the base made with cooked wild rice mixed with an egg and then blind baked it for about 15 mins before I covered 3 Bramley apples lightly stewed with chia seeds and a little brown sugar. I put flaked almonds on top and baked for another 20 mins and am looking

Testicular Pain Since Vasectomy
I love in the USA - I had a vasectomy a couple years ago. I was in immense paint throughout the whole procedure. I could feel them burn me (make incision) and it was awful. I have had to take antibiotics 2 times for swollen tube... can’t recall what they called it. I am sitting on a couch now - laid

One More Night– Phil Collins:- Songwriters: Philip David Charles Collins
How are you doing with your
healthy
living
and lifestyle? I have just been plodding along quite nicely this week, so I chose “One more night by Phil Collins” as a happy background sort of song … just plodding along with my life. No great set-backs, no great highlights.

I have had ITP for 5 months and no medications have helped....Prednisone, Dexamethasone (very temporary) Revolade and Rituximab. IVIG ???
Has anyone here been having IVIG infusions on a regular basis (perhaps every three weeks) rather than having a splenectomy?

What next?
Hi all, I’ve just found out my 2nd FET has failed and looking for any advice what to do next. We had 3 PGS normal embryos, 2 out of 3 have now failed to implant. I’ve had ERA, EMMA, Alice tests, a Hysteroscopy abs HyCoSy and everything was normal. I’ve got high NKC but had treatment with an IVIG drip

Could I have diabetes?
I've been urinating between 9-12 times a day, had increased hunger and also have thrush on my tongue that won't go even after medicine. I am not overweight or inactive so I'm thinking that Type 1 diabetes is more likely. I'm 18 and I've had these symptoms for around 2 weeks.

Covid antibodies
I got back my test result with 1036 AU/ml. Cut-off is 50, so this is clear positiv. Test was done by CMIA Abott SARS-Covid-2 IgG II Quant Assay and it was mentioned that there are nutralising antibodies in the neutralisation test. I am extremly surprised and happy as needing IVIG and having had O+V

Please help........new patient
Diagnosed Dec 2021 with ITP. Have tried Prednisone, IVIG, Dexamethasone Revolade and now Rituximab. My platelets have always been 100-137 prior to Dec. I had a very bad bladder infection and platelets dropped to 1 and have not recovered. I have had no episodes of bleeding. Could I have been misdiagnosed

Constant Hyperchondria around testicular cancer
Hi all, hope you are all well and getting a bit of sun where you are. It has been a little while since my last post as it got to a point where I had to see my GP, and after a reassuring meeting I was on the mend and not worrying as much of having a heart attack constantly! However, things seem to be

IVIG for polymyositis, side effects?
Hello? Has anyone suffered scary IVIG side effects? I've been having IVIG for about 18 months and it was going great, with some side effects but nothing too bad. Recently I had really bad chest pain for 3 days after my treatment, starting the afternoon of my last day of treatment, and also my knees

Need help please
For the past 5 years I have been having issues with palpitations and SVT. My heart would suddenly start beating around 250bpm, they used to go away on their own but the last 2 years I have to call an ambulance and go to hospital to have it go back to normal. I had an ablation in December 2020 and haven't

Covid vaccination and heart meds
Hi I'm new. My heart condition and diabetes is well controlled. Until Saturday when I had my covid vaccination. My blood pressure has been very high since and had chest pains last night. Is there any link with the vaccination and medication efficiency?
