An update
So, I'm going to seek mental
health
support to try to learn to get the
anxiety
about my
health
under control, and that will hopefully help the stress and depression. Maybe then I can start to live my best life again. I will keep you posted how I get on, and thank you.

diet drinks etc
me and my family n friends read in the news today about the sugar fee and diet drinks and aspartame sweetener being soo dangerous and cancer risk. some agreed it is a big issue whilst others say it’s always been known but only just been in the news / certified today. and some of them say they’ll stop

Anti-Dysrhythmics Making Atrial Tachycardia Worse?
Well, I tried the Norpace and it was a big flop. Not only did it give me daily Inappropriate Sinus Tachycardia, it actually seemed to make my Atrial Tachycardia/SVT worse and more frequent, with longer episodes. I made it a whopping week. My EP seems to be getting frustrated with me and I think Rhythmol

Waxing or hair removal when on Warfarin
Hi. I just had a mechanical valve replacement on the 16th of August 2023. I would like to get waxed. Is it possible to? I have never bled before warfarin. Are there other hair removal methods that are safer or can I stick to waxing?

Heart bypass update - I made it
Following on from my earlier post about my anxiety of having bypass surgery (and the many fantastic replies, advice and stories) I am happy to say my quadruple bypass went ahead on Thursday and was a complete success. Not going to lie, the first couple of days were tough but no where near as hard as

I've been thinking a lot about people's misdiagnoses........
However, so many people have a diagnosis of fibromyalgia, ME/CFS, MS, Parkinsons, depression,
anxiety
, other mental
health
problems, ADHD, Autism.......the list goes on, and I wonder how many of these are actually B12 deficient.

When is a second ablation advisable?
I was dx with Paroxysmal Afib in 2018. After the usual regimen trials of just Metoprolol, Flecainide, Flecainide with Metoprolol for rate control, etc. I received a Cryoablation on March 16 of last year (2022). I had two afib episodes a month or so after the ablation which was explained as being in

Atrial fibrillation in early 50s for no obvious reason
Hi, I'm 51 years old, fit, healthy, no high BP, don't smoke, eat mostly a plant based diet and had my first afib episode a month ago. A&E couldn't find a cause and put it down to dehydration and over doing it. They sent me away with no medication. A fews weeks later I started getting migraines with aura

Aortic stenosis
Morning all , I’m 14 months post my second ablation which was an RF redo to tidy up the PV and left atrial floor as I was told . I’m very pleased with my progress so far with only two mild and short episodes of AF . I also have mild to moderate stenosis of the valve which I was told in 2017 would have

Heart bypass or stens
Hi all I have been diagnosed with blockages to 3 arteries and the consultant has given me the option of a bypass or stens. Almost a 50:50. I am unsure which to take and was wondering if anyone had been in the same boat and had any advice. Which you chose and why ?

slightly embarrassed to be posting this, but for a few months now I have really been struggling with anxiety around sickness. I am scared of getting the stomach bag or any kind of illness that could cause me to throw up. I’m also worried about covid. I got it back in July and those five days in isolation
