SIBO and B12 deficiency and OCD?
He has various allergies, including
hay
fever
. In January 2021, he literally collapsed through his legs. He couldn't take it anymore. Our gp didn't know either. All year nothing wiser. He's been home all the time. In 2022 I found out for myself that it had to be a vitamin B12 deficiency.

I don’t believe it!!
A sneezing fit last night convinced me that this was
hay
fever
; I get it every year and I don’t let it stop me doing anything. Mrs BC has had similar and tested negative for Covid 19.

And suddenly running became fun
I breath a lot easier even in
hay
fever
season already, don’t run out of air that quickly anymore and see and feel my legs toning too. On rest days I also do a good 40 minutes of flow yoga to strengthen my muscles and breathing.

Non Allergic Rhinitis when taking Bisoprolol
I have never had or suffered with
hay
fever
or allergic reactions before. It got so bad yesterday that I took an antihistamine but unfortunately it made me so tired ( I felt like a zombie!!). Though, in hindsight I should of checked if it was non drowsy? ( suspect it wasn’t).

Help with histamine/levothyroxine query
Thus indicating to me an allergic response to ingestion (as opposed to
hay
fever
etc). Has anyone else experienced this? I then wondered if there is a block to effective use of/uptake of levo within the body if histamines are present and causing inflamation.

I also have Fexofenadine that I now use for my

PD link allergic rhinitis like “hay-fever” and histamine
Allergic forms of rhinitis also appear to be PD-sensitive or possibly even the causative agent of PD for many. On mg search I came across a 2006 study by Dr. James Bower (Mayo Clinic) that at the time already demonstrated the relationship between allergic rhinitis (histamine) and PD. https://www.sciencedaily.com

Cough, chest pressure, GCA
I am being treated for GCA, but had a negative biopsy. I am now taking 40 mg of prednisone and will drop to 35 mg tomorrow. My first rheumatology appointment is May 16. I am in no pain but I am very fatigued and I continue to cough, especially when I speak, and have chest heaviness. My primary care

Felt like Giving Up - Update
Hi I posted about 6 weeks ago as I was really at rock bottom and just didn't know where to turn and felt like giving up, I just wanted to say a belated thanks to everyone who reached out to me with advice, support and positive wishes, it was so much appreciated. After a complaint to PALS I had a call

Treatment changes - Rituximab?
Finally saw my consultant again last week. Think he was quite surprised at how swollen my hands have become and he said I'd done well to keep going. So am feeling a little more positive, though I'm battling through a lot of pain. The steroid jabs I had in my finger and thumb base seem to have given

can pleural effusion alone come back?
when I was first diagnosed with HGS OC in December 2021, it had spread till the lungs. There were 2 small nodules in the lungs along with pleural effusion in the right lung, which was also tested to be malignant. Have been NED since first line ended in June 22, and been on olaparib since. Day before

Heart worries
Hi All, I have been having an ache in my chest for a number of weeks. The other night I woke up with chest pain. Ended up in A & E and had all the usual tests - ecg., bloods, chest x-ray. Very conscientious doctor couldn't find a problem although he did say troponin was 'slightly elevated'. Repeated

Exercise intolerance
Hi all. Does anyone have any idea how to tackle this please? Just over four months into PCS. At first I had to build exercise back up but managed to get to walking about five miles a few months ago. Not without symptoms and obviously pretty shattered the next day, but I could do it. Over the last
