endometriosis
Hi all, I’ve been suffering with pain for years at first I thought it was back related pain from having my children but after lots of tests they’ve found endometriosis in my pelvic ligaments, I’m currently on a waiting list for surgery and I’m taking double desogestrel tablets and strong painkillers

Pain relief?
I'm 74 with ET JAK 2 , I also have Arthritis in my hips. My Physiotherapist advised using a Pain relieving gel - but I said they contain Ibuprofen and I'm not allowed that as I'm on Apixaban. He said ask a Pharmacist as 'they will know'. I'm not so sure about that as some Haematologists don't know about

Fast AF
Well it’s been a while since I posted on here as I’ve been in good shape generally . My AF has been mild , infrequent and short lived but things have changed and there’s a story behind it . I’d been waiting for an operation to replace my aortic valve for over six months and I was suddenly given a date

Feeling lost and confused
I'm not sure what I'm hoping to gain from this post other than to maybe speak to people who understand what this is like. So far I manage pain with a tens machine and painkillers but things are getting worse. I have pain most days, it's worse after sex and I'm now spotting after sex. A few months

Far Infra red home indoor sauna
Has anyone tried a FIR sauna cabinet? I generally keep moving most of the day and the idea of 15 minutes before bedtime in one of these is appealing. Bursitis and PMR?
I am just over 2 years into my PMR story and am down to 4mg. Prednisone as well as 300mg. Plaquenil. Lots of up’s and downs but trying to stay positive because I have been able to cope fairly well until this last month. I started feeling a small aching pain at the back of my left knee about a month

My osteoporosis story so far
I have suffered an aching back and been stooped over for years, but didn't know the cause. It wasn't until April 2024 that I suddenly suffered extreme pain in my lower back, which went on for months and is still extremely severe. I had trouble getting my GP to take me seriously for months and it was

An interesting week
Hi all, just back from a short break, it did not quite go to plan! I was aware that I had tingling fingers for a few days before holiday, lots of wiggling to get rid of pins and needles. Day 2 of the holiday my left arm became very painful and within an hour I could not lift it up. Pain so bad I called
