Xylitol for teeth

Whilst Xylitol may be equivalent to Mannitol for increasing butyrate, I would like to commend it for its ability to fight tooth decay. Of course you can chew gum containing Xylitol, but it is not recommended if you have mercury amalgam fillings. Just dissolve half a teaspoon round your mouth after each meal or snack, spit it out and this should help with plaque and tooth decay. It has me.

It is also good for the skin when mixed with food grade vegetable glycerin and this combination with a little spearmint essential oil will help with dry mouth which is very bad for teeth.
